This is relevant to the current excuse people are using on the poor tackling.
The excuse is that we are playing a bit too emotional, guys are going for the big hit, forgetting to wrap up, etc.
If that is the case, we should be seeing more penalties on defense for playing too aggressively. We aren't.
It also feels like the opposite. We are playing tentative and almost soft, WHILE missing tackles.
If we were getting roughness penalties or guys were jumping the gun, with offsides - that could be explained.
But we aren't yet (or don't seem to?) so like the OP, I would like a bit more aggressiveness - if not embracing the violence, than we are seeing so far.
