All the above is why I won’t watch my recorded replay. Ugh.
So pissed I wasted my money on Sunday Ticket.
I'm only going to watch as far as the 4th Darnold TD drive that was legendary.
And that's it.
A game where your QB :
- has thrown 4 TDs for 341 yards.
- had
A RIDICULOUS 82.4% completion percentage.
- Had a 135.4 QB rating.
All the Defense had to do was be...MEDIOCRE at least (and force a few more stops here and there in each quarter) and this would be a victory.
Instead, the focus will be on the INT which wasn't even Darnold's fault but that won't stop the NFL Media from going "Ha! You see? He turned into a pumpkin!!!".
Anyway, it was a hell of a game otherwise, though.
If anything, I hope this put to bed any real question as to whether Sam can be the long-term answer at QB here or not instead of the constant wishful-thinking of Jalen Milroe being the guy (just like the Vikings thought McCarthy was the guy; and look at what is transpiring over there).
