So Im in the process of moving back up to Washington. Yay. However, the next month will mean limited time for me on .NET (iRo just smiled). Ill keep trying to do these though. They may be late. Also, I will start my "Games to Watch" on week 10. In the meantime, we swapped with the Broncos on most Rankings. Was to be expected.

ESPN - #2
http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2013/week/5
A bad Matt Schaub interception helped the Seahawks leave Houston with a two-game cushion on the 49ers. It doesn't get easier, though, with a trip to Indianapolis up next.

PROFOOTBALLTALK - #2

The more the Seahawks can steal wins on the road in the regular season, the less likely they’ll have to steal wins on the road in the postseason.

CBSSPORTS - #2
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/2394 ... -free-fall
That victory at Houston was impressive with the way they battled back. That's a show-how-tough-you-are type of victory.

FOXSPORTS - #2
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/powerRankings/2013/4
The Seahawks have blown out the 49ers, eliminated the Jaguars by halftime and now have an impressive road win on their resume. In case you didn't know it by now … this team is for real.

BLEACHERREPORT - #1
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1791 ... nd/page/33
The 4-0 Seattle Seahawks have won at home. They've won on the road. They'd dominated in blowouts and proven they can win close or come from behind. This is the most complete team in football. Bar none.

NFL - #2
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap200000 ... lcons-drop
Denver's dominance calls for the Seahawks to drop, despite the Seattle win. Close call in Houston, but once again, there was Richard Sherman. Did Matt Schaub provide a gift? You bet. But you have to make plays when they present themselves. Next up: at Indy. Should be a good one.

I pretty much agree. Until we lose we should be top 2. Denver is dominating all opponents. We dominated one quality opponent, and one bad one, and scraped by on the road. I think that's just our style though. I think we would be a really tough matchup for Denver.

I'm a little surprised there's no #3 rankings, but it's hard to argue with that.

I think it is fair and accurate and it even serves our identity to have to prove ourselves. Something to reach for.

I saw some article from some no name guy who put the seahawks at 4 and wrote "beat a good team and the road and we'll talk" and he put the packers at 2. LOL, made my day, anyone who has us at either 1 or 2 is spot on and whether we are #1 or #2 is your judgement

People know how good this team is, and when Seattle starts its second half run, they'll lock onto the top spot and never let go. The tsunami is coming; right now the water's still pulling back into the sea.

Orlando, FL...for good.
I can't argue against us being #2 because our offense is still screwing around jerking itself, and our play calling has been uninspired, to be polite.

I think Denver is overrated, though. They have faced no real competition, and saying "We beat the reigning Super Bowl champion" doesn't mean much since the Ravens are being very hot and cold right now and not looking like competition to most teams right now.

You might say I'm way more against Denver being #1 than I am against the Seahawks being #2, lol. They should have 1a and 1b, then jump to #3.

Screw you ESPN, thank you nfl.com for having a brain! I'm cool with the #2 ranking but ESPN doesn't need to throw their crappy jabs in.

Well, they've dominated three of the worst teams in the NFL and beat a 2-2 Ravens outfit at home.

Plus they've played 3/4 at home.

I'm actually a bit surprised the Saints didn't make top 2 on any of those. They've put away better opponents than the Broncos, imo.

While it could go either way with seattle and denver, those bleacherreport rankings are absolutely hysterical. they really are.
