True.

Devils advocate would say we could easily be 6-4 as well.

But we are 9-1 because good teams win those games!

Cannot play this game without saying what if Schaub doesn't throw the out and just hands off to Arians or Panthers don't fumble on the drive late or the Rams don't abandon the run for the go ahead TD after running it down the team's throat?

Cannot have it just go one way.

9-1 is great. Gives Carrol and co next season a goal to be perfect.

I'll take 9-1, with the one loss coming against an AFC opponent. Sure 10-0 would be awesome and all but having that whole 'undefeated' business off the plate means we can make wiser late-season decisions without having to even consider it.

Right, this. No way we can look at the Texans/Rams/Colts games and say that we deserve better than 2-1 in that trio of games. 2-1 is probably just about exactly what we deserve from that set of games.

Sorry, but people keep bringing this one up and it makes me mad - we had a 12-7 lead and they were driving - but there was over 5 mins left in the game - Even if they had scored a TD, we still would have gotten the ball back with plenty of time on the clock and would have had plenty of time to drive for a field goal.

As for Houston, yeah, Schaub kind of gift wrapped that one, but we had momentum and likely would have been getting the ball back...but it would have been a tough row to hoe.

The Rams criticism is legit.....

Yup. We 'should' have beat the Colts given how we played. But we also 'should' have lost to the Rams given how we played. 9-1 is about right, though obviously there's other games in there that came pretty close.

Sorry you are mad. Anybody trying to play the what if game is going to get that type of stuff brought up. I am not saying the team should be 6-4 but I am not going to say they should be 10-0. Maybe you agree with the OP, I just think he is using selective reasoning.

I'm thankful to be 9-1. If Seattle won every game they won the yardage battle and vice-versa, they'd be 8-2.

It's pretty cool to think about how this team is 9-1 despite playing mostly road games against some pretty good teams while having a backup line nearly the entire season. Without Percy Harvin.

Actually after the fumble Russell Wilson led the Seahawks deep into Carolina territory then ran the clock out easily could have been 19-7 as a final.

Both Houston and the rams criticism is legit. The Houston game is the one we deserved to lose. The offends could do nothing and they gave it away. Rams too I guess. Both were undeserved. But then again deserve's got nottin to do wit it.

All of those things are true, but the one loss we DO have came because of the refs. THAT'S why we should be 10-0.
