We have Harvin, whats the point of having Tate anymore?

I mean Tate is a cheap man's Harvin. Harvin does everything better. Seems kind of redundant.

Thats what people were saying in the offseason, right?

I'm not sure anybody said that.

Yes, many people said that they're similar players. But most of us are smart enough to know that 2 playmakers are better then 1.

Wow. Thought this was a real question. My response was going to simply be "heart". Dude exudes effort and determination. Becoming RWs buddy buddy was the best thing that ever happened to him.

This is terrible, we have two playmakers that need to be paid. It would be so much better if we had a bunch of middling players that we knew we could keep.

Tate had the highest % of broken tackles to touches last year. Harvin was #2. Combine that with Lynch and Wilson and we are going to the hardest team to tackle in the league

What's amazing to me is how Tate doesn't get the ball his way more often. That and Bevell not feeding the Beast is really starting to irritate me. We're passing too much and Wilson is really paying for it in hits.

Tate is fast but hes not close to being the fastest guy on the field. But damn is the guy shifty. He starts and stops on a dime. Fun to watch. :th2thumbs:

I'm definitely looking forward to Harvin returning kickoffs. Kearse does nothing back there but scare me. He's made tremendous strides as a receiver, but he doesn't bring much to the return game, imo.

and you are? oh your nuts? nice to meet you nuts.

Until Harvin plays a down. Tate has given his all to this team.. Wouldnt be too dissatisfied with Tate over Harvin.

Tate never gives up and plays with a chip on his shoulder. He is playing for that big contract too..but he always seems to give it all out there! Not a number one guy imo but damn good number 2 and great on st..
