We barely beat a crappy Cardinals team.

These games against the Cards seem like they are always kind of ugly. How many is that over them in a row now?

Cardinals are a very good team. Likely the second best in the NFC West.

I absolutely hated the play calling, especially in the 2nd half was garbage. I am not a fan of Kubiak so far. Too vanilla, and waaay too predictable. Continuesly putting Darnold in 3rd and longs by running game in famn near every 1st down, even though they're stacking king the box. Where is our flipping screen game? Do we have one?
Agree they need a screen game but I'm happy with them committing to the run even if it gets stuffed a lot. I think he needs to call PA sooner, sometimes he waits too long

A win is better than a loss. So thats good.

But i hope the team treats this as a loss. Because that was too ugly to ignore. Better teams wont let us get away with that.

The problem is have with running into stacked boxes is our OLine is crap in pass pro (again). So any long developing plays is a crapshoot. We've been fortunate so far.

Cardinals defense pretty good, even with all their injuries.

Thursday night games are always a crap shoot. Players are still exhausted, staff doesn't have much time to gameplan, team also had to travel on a short week. Look no further than Miami hanging with Buffalo last week. Wins a win, onto the next!

Its divisional. As an Iowa Seahawks fan my entire life, I went to STL every year for the Rams game…I saw 1 win against those bad teams…and that was our SB year on Monday night in which we snuck it out with the Rams having Clemens as the QB

Cardinals are solid. They gave the Niners all they could handle too. Even if they were the Jets, they’re still an NFL team.

Our young guys need to learn how to play 60 minutes of football. We’re used to seeing late game lapses from Woolen, but Spoon seemed more interested in running his mouth instead of his legs. Walker was taking the handoff and standing in the backfield instead of hitting the line and avoiding the negative plays. Even in the first half where they fumble after the interception, they’re running down to pose in the end zone instead of staying on the line until the call was made.

The one exception is JSN. Even after being bracketed in the first half and not being targeted. He kept grinding and was ready when he got his chance. That play to get out of bounds was huge; not just a great catch but great presence of mind as well.

I wish his peers would take a clue from him and Zabel.
