When Sam said he credited the coaches at the Jets for hanging in there, my mind was blown.

No wonder he didn't throw Adam Gase under the bus.

This guy doesn't have a hateful bone in his body.

With all due respect:

Our staff created the “luck”.

Not disagreeing about Sam, just that I believe it’s more by design than “luck”.

“It’s about us, it’s always been about us “

Maybe I should have said “We are so F’n Blessed”.

Nah, but so curious how we get to a fan base that nit pics such a commonly used phrase to describe excitement that aligns everyone.

Still feel F’n lucky!

All is well.

Wasn’t a literal criticism of your choice of words.

More like building on them, no offense intended

There are so many offseason stories out there right now as to who's the next Darnold. Quite a change in narrative from last offseason.

Cowpie has been on Sam's side longer than anyone. he also picked us before the Bowl. yes I heard him pick the Pats too. his official pick was us.

Cowherd lost me when he said he’s a Yankees fan cause they’re probably gonna win cause they’re rich so might as well root for a winner

Plus he never told Sam anything about how wrong he was and spent the whole interview framing his questions so he could bring up every failure Sam ever had…. Deuce out deuche bag

Cowherd has backed Darnold for years and took a lot of flack/mocking for it so I don't mind this victory lap from him. There's plenty of other takes you can hammer him on such as after the Wilson trade, needing an offensive HC etc. I have a feeling Wilsons agent was feeding him stuff. There's certain guys he seems to get info on and talks a lot about- Burrow, Sean Payton, Mayfield and someone at the USC program, at one time Russell Wilson.

It's refreshing to have a QB that doesn't talk like a walking clique (Wilson) or is flat out deluded at times (Geno). Love how he holds himself accountable, even talks about how there was a few specific passes in the super bowl he would like back, doesn't throw shade when he probably could.
