We allowed as many sacks as we called rush plays

They pretty much shut down the run and did a pretty good job trying to kill Geno. I would fire the entire line on both sides of ball if it were possible to replace them.

No creative run game = terrible game plan. It led to them being able to focus on stopping the pass and sending pressure. No bueno.

Yea not a good game plan going in. Didn't play complementary ball, at all.

Grubb was pass-happy with this o-line vs their d-line.

7 sacks... ouch.

Personally, when I'm going up against a team that has probably the most disruptive interior pass rusher in the world and I have an absolutely terrible IOL, I plan on doing nothing but throwing every time. I love my QB not having a lane to step up in and not varying the playcalling at all so that IDL can just pound my guards all day long.

Grubb needs to show the team that he's learned something, last weeks rushing stats were not ideal, today was unacceptable, if it's more of the same on Thursday...then I'm done being a Grubb apologist.
