Do you. Not here to argue. Several starters out. Up by 20 much of the game. I just don't care how it looks 🤷

Win by 1, win by 20, counts the same. Sometimes it's ugly. MOST games this year they have been in control. Meh burger

It wasn’t great - I guess it depends on your expectations. Mine for this game is we should be stomping the heck out of a 1-9 titans team if we are genuine Super Bowl contenders coming off a loss.
The game shouldn’t have been anywhere near this close and yes this has large parts due to :
(I) the return TD
(II) some dodgy officiating (the “catch” was a bad miss and the 4th down spot looked wrong in real time and on replays). There were other ticky tack calls that seemed to favour TT and keep the game closer than it needed.
However; as a constant theme we have seen all year. We struggle to put a team away with a lead. At least today the run game was better and I believe we came out of it healthy(ish) with a few minor concerns. Let’s get Knight Jones Love back into this defense and really cause havoc.

Did it not feel like when an older brother is playing his younger brother and could whoop his butt easily but just plays around a bit and lets the younger brother have a few wins along the way? We had no urgency, vanilla play calls, pretty simple defense and led twice in the 3rd quarter by 20. I dunno. We made some mistakes but it never felt like we were hanging on for a win. We had complete control over that game and no injuries. Can’t really complain about that.

I made this exact comparison except with officials. They act like a parent who wants the older sibling to win but feels bad for the younger sibling and gives him some help with calls so they don’t feel so bad.

Sounds good. Maybe I just appreciate things more these days. A win is a win. Sometimes it's ugly.

The score in this game could come back to bite them in a tie breaker with the Rams. They beat the Titans 33-19

Win by 1. Win by 30. Samesies. They were up 20 much of the game. One return for TD was the only reason they were sort of in it.
No it isn't. Rams are currently running it up against the Buccs. They will win by a bigger margin than we did. Again. What's the difference if we both win? Rams are wracking up more tiebreaker advantages over us. If we beat them at seasons end we will have the same w/l record but the Rams will own the tiebreakers. Again.

Over/under?

If we count up how many times you’ve posted this thought, over or under 12?

I’m willing to take the OVER
You're not wrong. Guess I've worn out my welcome again.
And for the record: It drives me insane when they have these comfortable leads and go into cruise control. Happily annoyed? Something like that 🤣

For sure, never felt close per se
*Maybe* if the Titatns hit a bomb for a touchdown before the 2 minute while they still had a timeout left... maybe might have moved in my seat hahah

As far as the tiebreakers go.....you're not wrong. More points on O, less points on D is good. But it's REALLY far down on the tiebreaker list.

  1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
  3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
  5. Strength of victory in all games.
  6. Strength of schedule in all games
  7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed in all games.
  8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed in all games.
  9. Best net points in common games.
  10. Best net points in all games.
  11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
  12. Coin toss
