And this thought occurred to me:

How ironic is it that the two of best guys on the field for the Seahawks that game were players Jim Harbaugh coached in college at Stanford; and players he passed over in the 2011 draft?

Thank You, Jim Harbaugh for being such an egostistical a-hole that it makes you an idiot sometimes.

After reading some of the articles about Sherman's and Baldwin's experience with Harbaugh at Stanford they are probably glad he didn't draft them.

Week 1 at SF in 2011, Baldwin had something like 4 catches for 85 yards and a long TD that put the Hawks in position to win before the special teams mistakes took over.

As a rookie UDFA, in his first game his old coach had to be realizing it was a mistake to not draft him, even late. The funny thing is that Baldwin would have been a great addition to that team with the receivers they had.

The guy is clutch, nothing less and I am jacked that he has the rapport with Wilson, but he always steps up against the Niners.

Outstanding. One 5th round pick and 2 UDFAs that are key players of a Super Bowl winning team. Guys that are miles ahead of most players drafted before them. All 3 of them are just getting started and haven't peaked yet.

In a way I could understand Harbaugh not wanting to deal with Sherm again under any circumstances; Sherm is not meant for every coach, but Pete is the perfect guy for him.

But not seeing it in Baldwin was a poor mistake on his part.

It was beyond a poor mistake. Baldwin was blackballed along with Sherman simply because he was Sherman's protege. Assigned by the team as a rookie. When Sherman went against Harbaughs will and elected surgery instead of playing injured Harbaugh sent both him and Baldwin to the bottom of the depth chart behind even the walk ons. Likely causing Baldwin to go undrafted. He probably knew neither would play for him. Gotta love his ignorance now though.

Hey Ha rbaugh, your ego is not your amigo.
