If anyone is near a TV it should be shown on Root any minute. Its a commercial now so you have a couple minutes.

made that pitch look effortless. Russell is a stud...who happens to have a beautiful and fast slider

That was actually a screwball which curves the opposite way.

slider, screwball, oh well my bad, but he was good at whatever it was. I'm a hawk fan but I can appreciate his baseball skills. A slider to me is a small tasty hamburger at the bar and a screwball is the goofy guy down the street.

Ha ha. Let's call it a tailing fastball then.

perfect...tailing fastball it is (see I can learn new things). But it was cool to see Russell just walk out and throw an actual baseball quality throw instead of the typical celebrity lob that hits the dirt before bouncing into the mitt.

Apparently the ump found an emory board in Russell's back pocket ala one of the Niekro bro's circa 1985.

He's now looking at a 4 game suspension.

Much better then another (ex) QB did:
He played it off nicely. The guy catching the ball was preparing himself for a very sad looking man while getting up from tracking that ball down.
Just watched again, I completely imagined it.
