The guy beating us today is a terrible passer but he is just running away from pressure.

We struggle with mobile QBs. (and our defense makes stupid, stupid mistakes)

Agree to disagree. I would argue the utes oline is the sole reason this one is close (outside stupid penalties by the D") the QB has had all day and done very little.

Maybe but our defense spotted them 14 points.

2 TDs were on drives that were extended because our defense did some weird, non-football related thing that got a flag.

You don't grab the QB and toss him to the ground well after the ball is gone. And you certainly don't get in an opposing player's face right in front of the referee.

Don't get that. They only rushed 2 the last play.
A decent QB would have made them pay for the no pressure, prevent/softzone BS.

Glad the Dawgs won but there were a ton of mistakes, from play calling on both sides of the ball to execution.

Much credit goes to Utah though, they were as tough as advertised.

So 2 calls missed calls calls lead directly to 10 Utah points, plus the safety that should have been called was the 2 obvious holds = a 12 point advantage Utah.

The blocks in the back against UW = a 7 point UW advantage.

Too bad for Utah the zebras ignored the blatant holding in the end zone. If they call that correctly, that return never happens.

Seems kind of karmic actually. The refs ignore a blatant penalty that would have given us points and the ball if called correctly, but because it wasn't called correctly, Utah punts, the refs ignore more blatant penalties, and we get points anyway.

They won, people were saying the were not legit when they started off because of the teams scheduled, then when they started beating Pac 12 Teams they were not legit because they were not ranked, now they beat a ranked team and that's not good enough because they are not Alabama.

They are stepping up to each level of competition, they are learning to win, that's a test in itself when you have mediots hyping you and your QB and try not to believe the headlines before the games are played. Are they Number 1, nobody knows till the games are played.

Enjoy the ride, this Sled has not been pulled by a team of Dawgs of this caliber in a long time.
