You may want to check with your rep on that. Someone gets in a fight in your season ticket seats, YOU can lose your seats. Period. I've seen it already happen in our section.
But I don't use exchange, so it doesn't impact me. I'm extremely careful about who sits in my seats.
I'm def. curious though about what you're saying about ticket exchange.

I have, it was explicitly detailed out by my rep a few years ago. The NFL Ticket Exchange is a verified reseller, you are transferring all rights and responsibilities to the new ticket "owner". I wanted it in writing, because I have a PSL and didn't want exactly what you are describing to happen. This is only true if you use a verified reseller, and I think the NFL Ticket Exchange is the only verified reseller. I can't speak for your experience with what happened in your section, but I did the due diligence on my end.

That's the beauty of Ticket Exchange/ Ticketmaster. When you use the official resale portal, they are no longer considered "your seats." You don't sell your tickets to the buyer. You sell them to Ticket Exchange which then produces new tickets for the buyer. Any malfeasance becomes the responsibility of the buyer, and he will receive the ban for his poor behavior.

If you use any other site, the buyer will be using your ticket, and the team/ NFL will hold you responsible for his behavior, even though they can easily prove that you sold the ticket. I don't know if the concept of holding the STH liable has ever been litigated, but it would surprise me if it hasn't.

Until I hear differently from my rep, won't ever take that chance.
People have lost their seats over this. If you choose to not believe it, that's fine.

I was at the Vikings game last season and it was 50 percent Minnesota fans….thats appalling.

Too many Seahawks season ticket holders simply want to make a profit and not so much want to see a few seats to other Seahawks fans.

I can’t really blame them but if all they do is buy season tickets just to sell them to the whoever is the highest bidder and not actually have to intention to attend any (not a single home game) than why even bother being a season ticket holder.

We need real 12s back and not Niners fans, Packer fans, Cowboys fans, Minnesota fans, Bears fans, etc.

I transferred ownership of my season tickets since 2002 to my best friend so in a way I kept them "in the family". It's hard not to regurgitate many of the opinions expressed in this thread but I will say the team needs to get that winning percentage at home back up, pronto. Winning only 3 or 4 home games a year is appalling and has a direct effect on how many opposing team fans take over the stadium.

During the glory years we were winning the vast majority of our home games. It was damn near expected, even. Now it's a complete crap shoot if they will win at home. That needs to change.

I think Norbcam described the situation perfectly in this video and provided some really great counter points and potential solutions. Respect to this guy.

It's really easy just to message them and ask, that's where I am getting my info.

I actually just did out of curiosity. Meh, not really gonna' impact me either way. I just care about who sits in my seats. I'm on my 33rd season as a STH. No way in hell I'm gonna' mess it up.

This guy is a hack.
I don’t know anything about him other than this video. But he did mention that same solution/idea about a Seahawk fan group ticket exchange like what you’d mentioned earlier. I think that’s a really cool idea.

Yeah, that's his schtick. He's known for ripping off other people's ideas for his videos. Not saying my idea was original, but you won't ever hear a unique idea from the guy.

I am not a big Norbcam fan (I've always felt he was a bit of an overcooked ham) but he's dead accurate here. Very good takes. I think Seahawks corporate should watch that video.
