With hopefully a Seahawk win would possibly bump the NYG vs PHI Sunday Night Football Game in favor of a more marquee Cowboys vs Seahawks matchup.

NYG is now 3-2 and PHI is 4-1. And it has that historical divisional rilavry flair.

But a possibly 3-1 Seahawks team vs a 4-1 Cowboys team also looks like a big time matchup that would get some big ratings as well.

Is there a chance Seahawks could get the flex?

Defending champs vs "America's Team"? Networks would eat that up especially with the CowGirls on a winning streak.

Also, its not like Fox would lose out if NBC wanted Seahawks/Cowboys their game of the week would be Eagles/Giants that's still big time ratings.

TBH, Seahawks/Cowboys are also more marketable right now with more big name players filling the rosters.

I thought they didn't do the whole flex thing until the 2nd half of the season.

The east coast media loves a top notch NFC East showdown so even with a Dallas-Seattle matchup looking fun I don't think NBC makes the decision lightly. Also Fox has Dallas-Seattle as their 'Game of the Week' I believe so I don't know if they may try to protect it, if they have that option.

Games can now be flexed from Week 5 on...

That said, NBC already announced Eagles/Giants on SNF next week - so this is moot

I don't blame them it's a division game and the Giants will win. Huge ratings.

Ugh, this kind of pisses me off.

Wilson-Lynch-Harvin and the LOB vs Romo-Murray-Bryant and the Cowboy's OLOB (Offensive Line of Bulls) looks way more enticing with way more big name players than:

A solid but perhaps overrated Eli Manning vs suckass Eagle's Defense

&

An overrated Foles + overrated McCoy behind a bad O-Line vs a solid NYG Defense.

I bet Jerry Jones made a call because he didn't want the spotlight and primetime treatment at C-Link.

Relax, once we win our second Lombardi of the 4 in a row that's coming the NFL won't be able to screw with us ever again. Patience young Jedi.;)

the less flexed the better! Those games don't kick off until 01.30am here. Tonight's game is going to screw up my sleeping pattern and DEFINITELY screw up my day at work tomorrow...

I have a job interview / presentation tomorrow so I can't stay up to watch the game. Have set the DVR and plan to avoid the internet until I can watch it.

The Cowboys Hawks game is already scheduled as the main "late" game on Sky Sports so I cant see any changes.

Won't happen. It would be even more of a disadvantage for the Cowpatties to have to play a prime time game in Seattle. Why do you think the Seahawks have to play a Monday night game on the east coast before playing Dullass? Give them every possible break (and yes, I am serious).

FOX protected the game so NBC couldn't flex it even if they wanted to.

I know I'm in the minority, but I like the 1:00pm regional games better than getting jerked around for prime time flex games.

When you have more talent than the other team, like the Hawks do now all switching games to primetime does is give the other team more motivation and time to prepare and get healthy.

I'm just fine with spanking the Cowboys in our regular time slot.

No way this gets bumped. First of all, most of the bumping occurs late in the season after the Thanksgiving game. Right now it's early in the season. The Giants-Eagles matchup looks really good. Right now, the Giants are hot and the Eagles are defending division champs. It's a matchup for first place in the division. Seattle-Dallas game is a marquee matchup for FOX. Doubt FOX would give up it's right to broadcast that to NBC.

Pretty sure they have to make the changes 10 days prior anyway, so its all moot.

I don't see why NBC would flex out NYG/PHI. Two big east coast markets and two teams that are doing pretty well right now. It's a division rivalry game and could easily have playoff implications down the road. They really only flex out games that have absolutely no business being in primetime. Not the case here.

SEA has a virtual national game for all intents and purposes anyway (America's Game of the Week).

Will probably be fox with Aikman/Buck
Remember- all it takes is a Dallas Game, they could be playing raiders or Jacksonville, so it doesnt matter who they are playing?

This is pathetic too cause Houston had more fans than they did in Dallas

Not to mention our record of blowing people out in prime time games at the CLink. I'd have to go back, but we usually have a record of blowing people out even on the road in prime time games. I remember some vicious drubbings on the Eagles a few years back.
