You need to have integrity when you're running a football team. You can get a divorce, and the players will understand because it's up front. But sneaking around with someone else's wife no less, that's a betrayal. It shows a lack of respect for your wife and family, while demonstrating a lack of integrity.

💯. Adultery happens all the time. But, some occupations, to include being a HC in the NFL, come with additional responsibilities.

Folks can chalk it up to ‘normal behavior’, happens all the time, etc. but it’s a terrible look.

If the rumors are true, I wouldn’t want him running my football team. Then again, maybe him and Kraft will talk it over during a massage.

Exactly. How are you going to get someone to run through a brick wall for you if they think you're a bit sketchy.

I tend to agree. IMO getting all those big bucks that is way above what us common folks earn comes with some strings attached, which includes public relations, that you have to behave like a model citizen, and model citizens don't cheat on their wifes. Vrabel and every other high profile NFL employee have chosen to live his or her life in the spotlight, and they get a big chunk of that paycheck directly from all that public exposure.

Agreed.

I personally despise the idea of getting married to someone then going outside of said marriage. No matter who you work for.

But Gemcity has it correct. Vrabel isn't managing a normal company but representing an organization that's worth
hundreds of millions of dollars. My guess is something will have to be done but hey , I've been wrong once or twice before.

This isn't stealing another teams signals or filming their walkthrough before a Superbowl. I'll leave the deflated balls alone for obvious reasons 😆

No doubt bro. I simply don’t understand why married folks cheat. At his/her age too?

Get a divorce…then go have your fun.

As I get older, I’ve realized that falling into temptation is the weak route.

I can only imagine how their spouses feel.

It makes him look bad but cheating on his wife won't cost Vrabel his job. It's not illegal so that part of it doesn't come into play. It will play out like "the guy got away with it" and fits that narrative but more of it has to do with their jobs. When people started doing deep dives on Russini's news drops and the slant favorably towards the Pats, ie Brown wants to play for the Pats, Crosby is an ideal fit for Vrabel etc, it calls into question her integrity as a journalist.

I agree that it won't cost him his job, but had he been on the hot seat, something like this could be the straw that broke the camel's back. No one's going to fire the reigning COY over something like this.

At my former place of employment (I've been retired for 8 years), there were managers/supervisors who lost their jobs over something like this. There's a fine line between behavior that is between two consenting adults being none of anyone's business and your behavior/attention getting is hurting our image and/or our profits, especially for someone like the HC of a professional football team, ie the face of the franchise.

It's called a conflict of interest, that he's putting his personal interests ahead of that of his employer. I've also seen people fired for lying about it in a company investigation. The Pats would be fully within their rights to fire Vrabel.

It takes two, but it sure seems like she's getting a lot more wrath than Vrabel is.

Or agree to an open marriage. Not my thing, but if both parties buy into the concept then who is anybody else to judge and then there is no betrayal.

Yep, but the longer he stays silent about this, the more cowardly he looks. Ducking out of his pre-draft press conference was not a good look. He can't avoid the media forever. And if they were just friends and nothing more, he should be outraged that his "friend" was forced to resign over this.

Yep. And let's not forget about this one, which involves Russini & Garden Gnome himself when he was still with the Redskins.
