Russini used to be a Titans beat reporter (think they were either affiliated with the NFL and/or ESPN). She eventually made her way up to the national level…I don’t watch sports shows (mainly due to the lack of respect for the Seahawks…). So, apologies for the ambiguity here.

Anyways, both Vrabel and Russini are married (to other people) and were photographed at some resort holding hands, lounging by the pool, etc. It is a couples resort (no kids allowed). Vrabel was doing some team stuff in the area but we’re talking 2.5, 3 hours away. Not your ordinary stay in the downtown Marriot.

It’s been rumored that it had to have been a private investigator that took the pics as the photos weren’t just random paparazzi type photos. Not sure if there’s any substance to that but…sounds like one of the spouses were already keen to what was popping off.

I have seen random clips of Russini talking ‘bad’ about her husband. On one show she said "I'm married to someone average... if I was married to someone beautiful, I'd over-post too". Maybe she was trying to be funny (odd humor) but, she’s said multiple things about him that are rather demeaning.

Not a bad looking lady but definitely comes off as if she’s trying to get attention all the time.

I love the jokes like if this is a normal NFL player or coach / Reporter relationship when will see pics of Schefter and Andy Reid giving each other back rubs.

The story that she was there with her friend and he happened to be in the area with his friends sounds like something you cook up for plausible deniability in case you do get caught.

To be clear, I don't condone it... and I certainly would NEVER do it... and haven't after 42 years of marriage to two different wives... but some people cheat on their spouses... and I don't care. It's their lives and I don't judge.

Yes, this is why Russini is being investigated but Vrabel is not. It's important to Russini's employer that she be objective in her reporting, without conflicts of interests. It doesn't create the same problem for a football coach to have an affair with a reporter. HOWEVER, if Vrabel is having an affair, it will be a huge distraction for the Patriots and can derail their season before it even starts. Kind of like Urban Meyer's staying in Cincinnati after a game for some fun and dancing. That got him fired.

I see that Dirty Dianna has now "resigned" from her current reporting gig. Of course she's playing the victim card and doesn't admit to any wrongdoing whatsoever. Her resignation letter doesn't make sense. If her interactions with Vrabel at that hotel were completely innocent as they both claim, then fight this thing! Instead she says she doesn't want to give the story any more oxygen, so she's stepping down. M'kay.

One thing that I take out of this, if their story that both of them were with friends is they have horrible friends (as of right now). Cause none of them have stepped forward to confirm they were part of this trip. Now Vrabel being a guy, he said he was with 3 friends, i would have thought 9 guys would have claimed to have been with him.
