Some info on Knox....

he rose from playing on special teams and as a back-up guard for the first six games of 2017 to becoming a starter for the last eight games of the season following an injury to Branden Bowen … and impressive he was as a starter … he earned game “champion” honors from the OSU coaches six times for his outstanding play and he was a champion nine times as a senior … he graduated in December 2017 from Ohio State with his bachelor’s degree in sport and industry.

Knox has been working out and rehabilitating from his injury at APEC, a training facility in his home state of Texas, where he has been coached by former NFL offensive lineman Jonathan Scott, who spent nine years in the league. Knox said it has been “priceless” to have the opportunity to learn from someone with that much experience in the league.

He has raw athleticism and an imposing build, so that's a good start. And then he posted a 4.45-second 40 time and a 37-inch vertical jump at the combine. That's certainly intriguing. If a team is convinced of his personal growth, he looks like a good upside gamble on Day 3.

Ferguson caught 66 passes for 1,117 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Demons, opening the season with 129 yards against Texas A&M, including a 71-yard score. He pulled in multiple All-America honors and was the Southern Conference's Offensive Player of the Year. With another season of eligibility available, Ferguson opted to turn pro.

That's what I'm talking about! Hot damn, I've been talking Ferguson up on this board for months. Can't believe be wasn't drafted, but I don't even care anymore. I'm beyond excited he's on the team. He's the WR that I wanted the Hawks to get no matter what. I feel both he and Keelan Doss out of UC-Davis will make teams feel the pain of letting them go undrafted.
