I haven't heard about this kid since the Draft. Anyone know how this kid has been doing at OTA's?

We won't really see what he's all about until training camp and pre-season games with pads and contact.

Looking at ourlads depth chart they have him at backup MLB? I thought he was a Leo candidate. I think Lotulelei is making more noise than Powell at this point but its too early to assess
We should see the first Seahawk depth chart for this team after next week.
As I understand it, Ty Powell is a SAM / LEO project.
I think of Powell as a replacement for former SAM / LEO prospect Dexter Davis. The two of them have very similar measureables and traits.

The Hawks knew what was coming down and didn't spare any rocks looking for potential Leos. Mayowa, Boatwright, Powell, Wilkins and a few others are going to be given a good chance to show they can play. With suspension and PUP space and flexing players between Leo and LB and potential scheme changes it's going to be interesting to see how many of these guys make the roster. It would be great if Clemons is 100% week one.
