Yeah its got to be Turbin, Since he carried the ball from scrimmage 0 times. He touched the ball 3 times an if we just could have had 10-20 more yards on those returns I know we would have won the game. Oh and then the fumble the resulted in 0 points. That was a killer, I thought we had the game in the bag until Turbin had a total melt down and gave the Cards 0 points. Ouch!

The 102 yards in penalties didn't really hurt, I think Turbin was responsible fo 0 of those penalties.

And then Turbin cointributed 0 yards to our total offensive effort of 192 yards by carring the ball 0 times.

If on the 3 times he did touch the ball he would have ran 100 yards for a touchdown giving us 21 points we would have won.

Yep its all Turbin's fault.

so what your saying is field position means zero in a game of inches.

that turbin fumble gave the cards the ball and although they didn't score, it took time off the board. the cards game plan was to play a slow game and run out the clock, grind it out.

notice how you don't wanna talk about how the second we got a decent return from Baldwin we score a touchdown.

Field position wasn't good today, that's for sure.

It sure was in the first quarter. We got the ball almost at the 50 twice.

Offense did nothing with it.

And we got the ball inside the 10 off the interception return.

Offense did nothing with it.

A good offense would have turned those three possessions into at least 13 points.

Teams loose as a team, it isn't just on him. Penalties were horrible, offense in general was poor showing. Team lost the game.

It's "lose", not "loose." Why is that so hard for people to understand???

Lack of quality English teachers in the US. I blame Bevell.

Sorry I know I'm being sarcastic, I'm just completely over this Cards game.

Have to ask...did anyone see that they put up a stat for Decemeber??? I could have laffed my azz off and almost put it in Netchat. Still wonder where they get these wonderboys that spell that way on NATIONAL TV. my other comment would not be good here, so I shall leave it at this. LOL

:th2thumbs: Let me get right on that chief. Why is it so hard for people to politely correct, or think outside of the box instead of assuming a person does not understand? The amount of assumptions one places on a poster for a grammatical mistake is often inaccurate. people error on threads because it is easier to let the autocorrect, or error go, then to try and fix it with big hands. Hope that post made you feel intelligent. :stirthepot:

I don't understand the hate for Turbin right now at all..

I see so many people hating on the guy for his kick return skills or lack thereof .. and I agree.. he absolutely should not be returning kicks. But as a backup RB to Lynch? I think he's fantastic and he has provided us with some very nice looking runs over the duration of his early career here in Seattle.

Really though - why the hate for the guy? Getting mad at Robert Turbin for sucking at KR would be like getting upset at Russell Wilson if he was playing cornerback. Blame the coaching for putting him in a situation where he's just not suited for it.

Fantastic? Is that a joke? The guy doesn't have amazing speed, drops some easy passes, and gets 1 arm tackled easier than anyone I have ever seen. I think he is an OK back up because he can block but anything more than that is reaching.

But I will also add to put this game solely on Turbin is a joke. Bevell, RW, WRs dropping passes, and inconsistent O Line play deserve way more blame than Turbin. I have never been on the Turbin bandwagon because I have no idea what was so special people saw in him, but a stupid fumble doesn't make the game solely fall on him. He was a minor part in why we lost.

I also think people forget that the Turbin fumble ended in zero points because Sherm ended up picking off Palmer a few plays later.....it did cost us time and perhaps momentum....but it resulted in zero net points.

When you return an INT to the 5 yard line and get 0 points, that's a problem.
