It was a bad game, the offence played like they we're already at home, doing XMas stuff. Our D was great, if not for them, we would have lost a lot higher. I don't like this loss either, but dang, we've got to move on. Rams are waiting to be crushed.

Other than turbin carrying the ball like a loaf of bread and falling down
On his own you can't blame him for the loss. It was a offensive collapse.

Time of possession. No running game, so without that, no pass play. We definitely miss a Sidney or a Percy today. I think some big bodied receiver running shorter routes would have helped and kept drives alive. I think I am not too worried after being at the game. It was painful to watch and so was the 12th man. They were making noise when he offense was in the field, and there was blaring noise from the audio systems during the offense. Everything was off, it was given we will win and the mind set of championship game never showed up.

But hey, there is one more game, we hope this game lit a fire on the offense.

Would you blame Red if he was asked to cover Fitzgerald and got beat for a TD? Again, Turbin has no business returning kicks. Anything and everything that happens when he does should be attributed to our coaches and FO.

Who didn't see this coming? I've been saying for weeks that if I were the kicking team and saw Turbin back to receive, I would never kick deep, forcing him to bring it out. I think the Cards did exactly that today. This goes on the Pete /Harvin/ Michael debacle, not Robert Turbin.

You can't blame the damn defense get out of here with that.

This game is on Wilson, Bevell, Houshka and Turbin.

Wilson has had plenty of games like this and always gets bailed out, he does, as others have said, deserve a whipping in the media. He does not look anything close to an elite QB this season, seems much more like a gimmick.

Okay this is now the dumbest post of the year. Rw was in the talk for MVP until the past game, he was in the top 8 in passer rating, tds, ypa, QBR and more so for you to say what you said shows you know nothing about football at all.

It's a little funny that his bicep is so large it pushed the football out of his grasp.

The most useless muscles ever.. He falls with a flick of a finger. How dumb can a coach be for not seeing that he would fumble any minute now when he returned it!

I would love to watch football games with you. Seriously. When can we meet up?

I put way more of the blame on the offense.

As I understand it ... before this game .... Robert Turbin was one of only 3 NFL backs with 150 touches or more without a fumble.

I thought it curious that he didn't have two hands on the ball tonight as has been his MO. I wonder why that was changed up for this game.

Running with 2 hands on the ball limits your speed and lateral agility. He looked to have a much more "Beastmode" style on his returns... but we know that leads to increase chances of fumbling.
My best guess is that he was aware that his returns were not up to scratch and made an effort to try and do better... unfortuantely that resulted in the fumble.

I blame the Cardinals for this loss.

They hit the field with a much greater amount of motivation and a very successful defensive game plan. They did their homework on our blocking schemes, and once the run was shut down, there goes play action. Dropping the defensive ends into coverage meant virtually shutting down our tight ends ability to get clean releases over the middle. This left us having to keep Russell in a pocket with nothing but covered receivers and big red helmets to stare at until he got sacked.

Playcalling aside, I'm starting to wonder if the "glorified practice" and all that attitude has permeated the team. I don't know how seriously we take opponents until it's too late to matter.

Teams loose as a team, it isn't just on him. Penalties were horrible, offense in general was poor showing. Team lost the game.

It's "lose", not "loose." Why is that so hard for people to understand???

Nearly every poster on .net saw that Turbin returning kicks was a train wreck waiting to happen. Putting him back there is on the coaches. Turbin is just a guy out there. He's not particularly good at anything. No way should he have a role as vital as kick returns. But I put far more blame on the offense. 7 three and outs, and a red zone offense to make you vomit. They played like garbage and lost us the game.

Sometimes you can actually tip your hat to the opponent. Imagine that. They flat outplayed the Hawks, and outcoached them.

Have to agree with this one. They did some outstanding cover plays in the middle where we would have passed a short slant passes. I am gonna watch the game again along with the other 2 games from 2 weeks past and see if there are patterns we are running that may be schemed on. I have a feeling I am gonna find one that the other teams see too. Patterns breed standards that can be used against the offense. This is the reason why a team must do "trick" plays to keep the defense honest. They said one more thing too (or it was me), the passing game will help create the running game or vice versa. Go Hawks
:sarcasm_on: P.S. I was also feeling a bit sick too...so it may have been my fault. :sarcasm_off:

Turbin constantly put us in bad field position with his decisions to run it out and inability to avoid the turf monster. that dude is literally too buff to run in a straight line. his muscles got in his way on numerous occasions including his oversized bicep causing the fumble. Someone slip some adderoll in his drink and get him suspended asap.

Lack of quality English teachers in the US. I blame Bevell.

Sorry I know I'm being sarcastic, I'm just completely over this Cards game.
