It's a little funny that his bicep is so large it pushed the football out of his grasp.

The most useless muscles ever.. He falls with a flick of a finger. How dumb can a coach be for not seeing that he would fumble any minute now when he returned it!

Some blame on Michael Bennett too on that late first half INT he's busy watching instead of laying a block to spring Smith for the pick six, we got no points there and it likely inspired the Cards to an even better game.

Yea, that was puzzling play there considering that Jeremy Lane blocked his butt off to get Bennett in the EZ.

Bennett has done a lot of great things this season but last week he did a sack dance when the ball was live on the ground too, so did Wanger not sure what the issue is but I don't like that he's had two mental errors in two games. It needs to be addressed and corrected before next week.

Turbin fumbles away the ball, we get a turnover three plays later, no harm done. Conclusion: Turbin lost us the game. Seems legit.

I mean Turbin sucked, don't get me wrong, but it's an insane stretch to put this loss on him.

Turbin didn't lose this game for us but he probably lost his chances at returning anymore kicks. High and tight please Turbo.

Penalties are by far the most frustrating part of watching this team. Beyond offensive sputters and giving up a fumble, pick, or the defense allowing a score... It's the constant giving up first downs on penalties, often times at the most pivotal times. I get it, you're emotional, but I wanted to cock punch 99 for that stupid shove after a one-yard gain, giving them 15 yards in a crucial moment. Just senseless crap that feels like it goes completely unaddressed by the coaching staff--it NEVER improves.

As I understand it ... before this game .... Robert Turbin was one of only 3 NFL backs with 150 touches or more without a fumble.

I thought it curious that he didn't have two hands on the ball tonight as has been his MO. I wonder why that was changed up for this game.

Turbin rarely fumbles and the OP should consider such things before unfairly bashing a Hawk. Turbin is not a return man and neither is Kearse. You want to blame someone for them being back there, blame Pete for putting all his eggs in the basket of Percy Harvin / Christine Michael. If we put Miller back there...would you say he sucks because he's so slow?

The entire offense, from Wilson down, played like shit. Singling out any single player is just ugly...especially a player forced out of his element and trying to make a play for the team. Am I huge Turbin fan and thus my reason for defending him? No, I'm not...but I'm a huge Hawks fan and Robert Turbin is doing his best with what he has, and as a hawk, I will give him respect and understand the circumstances. What was your boy Harvin doing today, people..."chillin on da couch wit da lil man"? The banks were closed otherwise you'd likely find him there...laughing his *&^%*& ass off.

I don't care what anyone says, I blame this loss on Turbin's fumble earlier in the game. Why in the world is he returning kick offs?!? Now, thanks to them losing today and about a 1 in 1 googol chance of San Francisco losing tomorrow, they have to face a very dangerous team from St. Louis next week if they want to have the #1 seed. Key word being "if." :229031_rant:

Laughable, considering Sherman picked off Palmer a few plays later.

I say it was a team effort....fumbled kickoff return, missed field goal, RW having a bad day, OL not being able to punch it in inside the five, over 100 yds penalties.....not all on Turbin.

Indeed, it is.

You can blame Turbin, or you can blame Wilson for having his worst game of the season, or you can blame Bevell for refusing to use the tight ends or fullbacks, or you can blame the receivers for failing to come up with some tough catches, or you can blame the defense for too many penalties that kept Arizona drives alive. Lots of blame to go around for this.

Precisely.

You can't blame the damn defense get out of here with that.

This game is on Wilson, Bevell, Houshka and Turbin.

Wilson has had plenty of games like this and always gets bailed out, he does, as others have said, deserve a whipping in the media. He does not look anything close to an elite QB this season, seems much more like a gimmick.

A 'gimmick' that won us how many games behind NO OL? Love it when peeps that rarely post anything when we are winning suddenly pop out of the woodwork to beat their drum against a player they obviously don't like for personal reasons. I suppose you are gonna say Bevell also made Favre look better than he really was rather than the other way around. Or maybe Favre meets you personal height requirement ;) Just a guess. You 'pocket passer' would have been killed in Chicago last year, as he would have from game 3 of this year until the Vikes game. Migh have even lost Atlanta while you're bullishing.

If ya can't say anything good while we're winning why even show up when we lose?

Players don't lose games, teams do.

Unless your Tony Ro... oh wait.
