The Falcons defensive line might be the least threatening we've faced this year.

Is this not a good time to at least see if Bailey can match his pre-season performances?

We've seen what McQuistan can offer. I'm not convinced either player is going to be blown away today by Atlanta's edge rushers.

I've understood why they didn't want two rookie book ends in previous games, but the Falcons are not STL or ARI.

Let's run the ball too. Run, run, run, run. We can still win at the LOS on both sides of the ball. Let's not try and be cute again. Let's ram it down their throats.

I am wearing my MVP jersey for the game.......Marshawn LYNCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would like to see Bailey in there as well, heck if he does good then I'll get his jersey too since we share the same last name.

I couldn't agree more Rob. I spent a ton of time this past week going back and looking over film from last week's game, specifically focusing on the O-Line and it just re-confirmed it for me -- McQuistan is really that bad at LT. He has such slow feet and is very clumsy looking in his movements out there. He simply doesn't have the quickness and the ability to be able to effectively deal with edge pass rushers -- simply doesn't. IMO, you can't get any worse than McQuistan at LT because literally, it's almost like having no-one there at all. So why not give Alvin Bailey an extended look in there, as he looked really good at LT in the Preseason. Osi Umenyiora will absolutely eat McQuistan alive unless you put a TE over there all game long, so what's really the difference between having McQuistan in there vs. an "untested and inexperienced rookie" in Bailey? Give him a shot Cable.

Did anyone catch on Seahawks Saturday Night when they had PC mic'd up during the Tampa Bay game? I seemed to hear PC tell Bevell something along the line that Tampa couldn't stop the run so Bevell should "get off the card" and call run plays instead. So, yeah, hopefully the play calling gives us Beast Mode all day. This should also allow the O-Line to use Bailey more without unduly risking RW.

Bailey looked pretty good today. I didn't watch him exclusively every play he was in, but one play I did....He blew up the DT when playing RG and Lynch had a decent run on the right side. Have been wanting to see him at Guard all season long and he didn't let me down today.

Supposedly we put Bailey in on 3rd down a lot and slid McQ over to guard. Seemed to work pretty well.

Sure did, almost every 3rd and longer situation Bailey was out there at LT and Paul was moved to LG. Worked out well for us I believe.
