I am not sure I'd have any interest in giving up a 1st as having two 1st for next year gives us a lot of opportunity to trade up. I am more on the Trade for a Marshawn type guy. There will be teams who have talented players they could dish for early to late mid round because their season is basically over. I'd like to think a few of these will be 3-4 teams and there could be some talented experienced front 7 players that would help this team not only this year but maybe next year.

Would it be crazy to see us trade Taylor, Poona, or Shelby off with a pick for an upgrade? I think an infusion of talent mid year can really inspire a defense too.

It wasn't log ago we traded for Carlos Dunlap and he had a pretty good impact on our team.

Well, they traded a low draft pick for Dunlap. That def. turned out to be a good choice.

If they're sticking with this new scheme, they might want to see what they can get out of Poona. He's a good player in a poor situation. The same could probably be argued for Darrell Taylor, but I'm not sure I'd give up on him as a 34 OLB just yet.
