I think we can all agree that Tom is a damn sight more fun to listen to than Greg Oleson. That dude was practically giddy while watching our team handle the Niners.

Gimme more Brady.
I think Brady is savvy enough to understand that viewers would rather hear nice things about teams. It is obvious when an announcer/commentator dislikes a specific team, and it makes the broadcast worse and is unprofessional.
With Brady also being an owner (and quasi-GM...sort of) it behooves him to almost view his job as a scouting job. He gets to become more familiar with all the players in the league, while also seeing what each team is doing and how successful different strategies are.

He could've chosen to be a dick because of how poorly the Raiders did, and been bitter about how the Seahawks got one over on the Raiders, but instead he seems to want to become savvy enough to end up being the winning team in the future.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if Tom Brady treats his new roles with the same intensity and dedication that he showed as a QB, he could actually become one of the most valuable front office figures in the NFL.

His actual voice still doesn't jive with me. Sounds like a caricature of a football announcer. Like a role in an Adam Sandler movie. Can't deny his knowledge and professionalism, tho.
Same. His voice gouges my cranium. Like a steering wheel in my pants, he drives me nuts. Arrrrrgg

Agreed, I was chatting with a friend during the game and mentioned that I'm really coming to like Brady as an announcer a lot; and obviously his knowledge of the game is best-in-class. I also liked how blunt he was about the Niners a couple of times, like after we got an easy 1st down he said "just wayyyyyyyyyyy too easy there", haha. Not being a jerk to the Niners, but kindly telling it like it is.

There's no denying Brady as a QB. As an announcer he just seems like a weird wooden robot reading lines. If you watch Colin Cowherd (Aberdeen in the house!), I love Hasselbeck segments, but Brady again seems like a weird robot.

Tony Romo is the best former QB announcer. He tells great X and O insight.

Yeah, so Brady has soft balls.
We were at the game but I always enjoy watching the replay of the broadcast, which we will begin in a moment. Brady’s voice and delivery is finally working for me. I also like Romo and Collinsworth but it’s like scratching a chalkboard.

The Rams game was great, but I love me a slaughter.

I would rather listen to Yoko Ono on loop for a year straight that have to endure that moron windbag Greg Olson for one game.
So you’ve never listened to her ‘contributions’ on the album with ‘Starting Over’? Try it 😵

I think it’s impossible to hate the guy. Sure, when he played he was annoying as F because he’s the GOAT and tore the league up for two decades. We will never see that level of greatness ever again.

He respects Seattle because he recognizes that they were the greatest D he played against. And the fact we gifted him a Super Bowl.
