Nope, not the fumble. The OPI called about three seconds after it occurred and in response to a Chiefs game sealing TD. That game was shadier than Red Alice's britches.
Or, watch the Denver Bills game from last week. It was stunning.
I don't normally buy into this type of shit. But, over the past few years December brings a lot of goofy things.
Understood my man. In regards to the fumble...what did you think about the call?
On its own? It was a messed up call, but nothing to really whine about. But, see if you can see their TE's TD that was called back for an OPI, just wow.
I knew damn well the Seahawks would get to play 1981 defense vs the Eagles too. Dallas v Philly will get some ratings, wont it?
A few years ago when KC was winless, they went in to Pittsburgh and took it to the Steelers. Just flat out beat them. I saw some of the most beyond shady shit I've ever seen in my life. To the point one of the players for the chiefs was caught on mic saying "they aint going to let us win man, SNF next week". And, sure as shit, the Steelers we're playing the Ravens the next Sunday Night...if they lost it wouldn't have been for first place. That's when I started kind of noticing.
It's not a conspiracy, but it's certainly predictable.
I respect your opinion ..but unless that player was Fitzpatrick, he likely wasn't a dues paying member of Mensa.
I think what happens Is the refs get caught up in the mayhem of it all. Especially favoring the home team with 75,000 fans in their (aging) ears. I'd bet every thing I own games are not fixed. Though it wouldn't surprise me if the occasional player (see Winston) mucked with the score a bit. There's just too many people involved (in football) to fix the outcome of a game with absolute certainty. Not talking to you directly, Pe, just sayin'.
I didn't see the TE int you reference....and glad I missed it. I was pissed enough with the fumble (that was or wasn't).
