Our offensive coordinator coordinated this hot mess. He knew what he had to work with(horrid o-line, mobile qb, good skill positions) and failed to deliver results. Everything looked out of sync and they looked suprised our line stunk.

Both Bevell and Cable have their hands deep in this.

He's actually earned an extension and a pay bump if you ask me.

Exactly how are you coming to this conclusion? Looks like yet another game without a TD plus the 3 last year. Its time for him to go.

Calling plays when the opposing defense is getting 2 ft from the QB before the snapped ball even reaches him is not his fault. Cable is the reason for the problems. For Bevell to call plays which put points on the board with this OL os definitely pay raise worthy.

Just curious, Siouxhawk, since you are always so quick to defend Bevell, what is your take on Cable?

Whatever. Reactionists never last long in the NFL. Don't give up your day job.

So thats your answer? This pathetic offensive output isnt just a once in awhile thing. Its become a habit.
So does winning 70% of the time. Freak out if you want, but I've seen this script before and it usually turns out well for us.

That's the difference between a person like Siouxhawks personality and someone like me. I want to win. I don't want to just "give it my best" and do well.

Sioux justifies Bevell's incopetence with the logic of "Hey, at least we lost later than some of the other teams"

Still lost Sioux, and with great players. You have a mentality built for loss, whereas most of the rest of us have one structured around wanting to win. anything short of being the victor requires us to diagnose and correct the issue.

Simply put, You might be fine with losing, but we are not.

Lol, Sioux. When the sun shines on a Sunday you probably credit Bevell for it.

Bevell's only saving grace is that he's downstream from the real source of the problem, the o-line and Cable, so it's hard to isolate how bad he truly is. Though it's very telling that the offense gets gradually worse every year and no one has hired him away.

You are predictable.

Sioux is the net troll, ignore him.

Another year, another season of asinine, illogical, loser mentality Bevell defense. I particularly loved the 2nd and 20 up the gut run call-gave us a great chance at success. Loved incorporating the hurry-up only in desperation mode.

The OL is trash but the scheme and the person in charge of this ineffective offense is down in the gutter with them.

Some of us see the big picture. Obviously scoring 9 points isn't acceptable, but you have to look at the reasons why. Everyone has work to do, but if you've followed the Hawks, you'd know they've been this way before and figured it out. Losing at one of the toughest places to play in the league stings a little now, but it's a blip of the season. Panicking at this juncture is what losing teams do. That's why they're losers.

What's confusing is that the offense can look so inept for 25 minutes of a half and then all of a sudden start clicking in the last 5 minutes. This has been pretty consistent for the past few years.
