This team really needs to move on from G-no

Geno wasn’t awesome early. That second int could’ve been on DK. We’re just built wrong. Great play makers but bad lines. This will eventually cost JS his job here. Plus why are our special teams a frickin disaster every game? I know we got a td but a two fumbled kicks is bad. We need guards and linebackers. Badly.
I honestly feel like the second INT was on DK, but I think with the night Geno had he doesn't really deserve the benefit of the doubt. (The issue, if it was DK, was something he's done before so he doesn't really deserve the benefit of the doubt either, so I don't know.)

But yeah, it's the line. The lines just aren't built well enough. Special teams, I think is a coaching issue.

If Tomlinson blocks his man, Geno completes this pass. The pressure caused him to rush it.

Geno is not him. He’s fine for what this is…a placeholder QB until the real team is built. How many times have we seen him drive up a field in crunch time only to throw an interception and seal the loss? A lot more
times than we’ve seen him do a game winning drive. He’s not a bottom tier QB, he’s just not the guy. This season is building the team around Geno, next offseason they’ll bring in the rookie QB. “Book It”

I don't want to be forced into Geno defense right now, but that's just not true.

He had tons of time here.

Tons of time? It was 1st and 18? Do you know routes that need to cover 18 yards take time to develop? Everyone had their man blocked. Even stone feet Forsythe. The outlier????

It was after a couple seconds though. This pick was on Geno for me. We’ve had a couple were the line was crushed but this isn’t one of those. Just my opinion.

If anything I’m more likely to put some blame on DO there before the line.

No, you literally have NOT seen him do that a lot more times than you've seen him do a game winning drive unless you actually don't watch most of the games.

Geno has led 9 game winning drives as the Seahawks starter. He has only thrown 2 interceptions while tied or trailing with 4 minutes to go or less. 2 is not, for those watching at home, a 'lot more' than 9.

Well we still may be able to compete with the Cardinals and Bears, but the rest of the schedule figures to be us getting blown out over and over...

Other than the Cardinals and Bears, we are like a pop warner team going against NFL all pros talent wise, we have ZERO chances at more than three more wins IMO.

Just cut Geno, regardless if he's the problem. The rest of the team is ass, no QB could win with this lack of talent.

I am pretty sure Geno was playing hurt tonight. Struggled to throw to the left. It is almost like it hurt to plant his foot

Our Back up QB was throwing passes on the side line all game long. That is not a common thing for the back up to do.

That’s possible it did seem like his throws were under or floated

How do you get out of that cycle though? We are too good to draft top 5 for a potential elite QB. The 9ers, rams and cardinals did stink for periods to get top picks at least before the rams and 49ers windows. I still think we are a 7 win team this year.

Who is our stars right now?

The only way I can see us getting out of mediocrity talent wise is accumulating picks by trading someone like DK or lucking out on a QB in the middle of the first round in a mahomes style situation.

I hate to break it to you, but Geno has been the bright spot of our offense this year.

We can’t run between the tackles and when you can’t do that everything else falls apart for the offense

We cannot pass block worth a shit either. Geno has had some success this year getting the ball out quickly. Today he was getting the ball out too early. He knows he won’t get the time

No Geno is not the future but most QBs will fail miserably playing with this offensive line

The problem is John Schneider for he under values the importance of good interior lineman

Build the rest of the team first then put a QB in it. A rookie QB will fail with this team.

This is kind of like when we had T Jackson. He took all the abuse while the team was built around them and then we stuck a rookie QB in there to flourish

it’s been shown over and over again that QBs are a crapshoot in a draft. I think you just draft one you like somewhere in round 1-5 and see if he competes.

Can you get elite talent though that way? We had a once in a lifetime run of draft from 2010-2012 while picking mid. Not sure it's repeatable and I don't think we'll ever truly suck under Geno
