A fractured locker, a defense that resulted to carry the offense, an offense with a QB excels at talking to his God but little else.

Broncos need Pete Carroll, a motivator, an optimist, they need a ray of sunshine. Pete Carroll ithe eternal optimist is what the good doctor would prescribe for this sick donkey. Hahaha, but Pete Carroll is gainfully employed elsewhere lol

Russ may be spouting his usual platitudes but at least his performance today wasn't an embarrassment, and I believe that he cares and wants to improve.

Hard to improve when platitudes are the only tools he has to work with.

Not making throws? We gotta look at the film.

Too many 3 and outs? We gotta get better.

0-3? Best days ahead.

70-burger. It starts with having a great film study session.

Taking too many sacks? Separation is in the preparation... oh wait...

Walls closing in? Insert any bible quote here.

The Broncos offense has made too many turnovers for the Broncos defense to overcome and can't sustain drives/score points in the second half of games.

It is a total team collapse.

Last year, the team could’ve been 7 or 8 had it not been for RW.

This year is the total opposite. It is not RW’s fault that his wr1 dropped and fumbled or that the broncs had penalties called disproportionately among them, and no qb will match 70 points.

This is a coaching failure on Sean Payton all around.

While Russ may not be directly responsible, he doesn't hold his teammates accountable either. When he does, it's through the media, like his comments about having to carry the Seahawks, etc etc.

He may not have been directly responsible, but he isn't part of the solution either.

The Jets had to suffer through Zach Wilson last year with a strong defense. And within a single series this year they realized they were stuck with him again for another season after losing Rodgers. They have yet to roll over and let teams score on them at will.

That's what the Broncos did. I don't give a crap about what the offense did or didn't do. The Dolphins RB had an 11.6 YPC over 18 carries. They allowed a 300 yard passer, a 200 yard rusher and a 150 yard receiver. If they don't get the defense to take even a little bit of pride in their work, they need to release every stinkin' player and start over. And maybe the whole coaching staff too. At least the scrubs they'd end up with would TRY. Russ may be spouting his usual platitudes but at least his performance today wasn't an embarrassment, and I believe that he cares and wants to improve.
They didnt trade the farm to get Zach Wilson and he isnt being paid 50 mill a year. The defense knows they still have aaron rodgers trying to comback and that Zack is a back up. The Broncos defense knows they have only Russ who does not really know how to control a game offensively like a Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or patrick Mahomes. The loss isnt on Wilson but he hasnt had a performance yet as a bronco that justifies his contract. His always positive attitude isnt inspiring anyone either. Sometimes you need to get pissed as a leader and hold everyone accountable.

Yeah, but 164m of that money is sunk Into a qb who at best will be a Derek Carr or Jimmy G. If everything else goes well, they win games for you.

Russ would have had 3tds if not for Sutton…

1 td was a pick play that needs to be executed perfectly. How can you blame that penalty on Sutton. One of those fumbles was a bad pass by Russ. Its unbelievable that Russ played so bad last year that people are giving him a pass for playing mediocre.

Yeah if Russ was in his 3rd year being paid 30 mill, Id say he did great. The last fumble was Sutton trying to force making a play because the offense was not doing anything with anyone else other than Mims. Yeah Sutton should have held on to the ball but He was doing alot the rest of the game thag people dont give him credit for. He even adjusted his route on the first td playing Russ ball. Why isnt he given credit for that? Oh right because we need to give all the credit to poor Russ.

Agreed. I stopped drinking when I was 29 because I have kids and because my wife never drinks. She never has, and never will. Probably why she looks so good.

I wonder what Frank Clark thinks. Perhaps he wishes he took less to stay in KC? Not sure he likes being part of a defense that gave up 70. Maybe he doesn't care but it's a bit of a stain on him and everyone on the defense right now.
