Jays fans dominate mariners fans in Seattle in the reg season.

Of course. It's just another regular season series for the M's, but Jays fans treat it like it's the World Series or something. It's cute.

I do know that. I just think it's cute that a regular season series in Seattle in May means so much to Canada that like half the country descends on Seattle like it's the can't miss sporting event of the decade or something. Meanwhile, it's just another regular season series to Seattle just like all the rest.

Well I'm glad they can support your team in some way...

I just noticed...I kept looking at the guy with the t shirt that says I bet on us. You?

Different discussion but that's directed at Ohtani who probably should and would of been Pete Rose'd if not for his status.
This. IMO he shouldn't be playing in the MLB. And not just because we're up against him.

I'd be curious how Canadian attendance for both the Mariners and the Hawks is/was this year and going forward. I have no idea of the numbers - but I'm guessing that it will/may reflect the total huge traffic drops at North to South border traffic this year - the 30% range? Isn't Canadian Vegas visitation down by like 40% depending on which report you read?

I can tell you that in Canada the current World Series, and the playoffs in general has alot of nationalistic undertones - hell, overtones here. Yankees fans chanting "51st state" - FFS. In the background, make no mistake about it, this is a national point of pride and a fight (proxy or otherwise) for Canadians. IMO. Not that it really matters - and perhaps it won't matter alot to most Americans.

And oh yea, props where props are due. Our bats got shutdown last night. Yamamoto can throw - That's for sure.

Ohtami was lights out for sure. Key to jays success is trying to chase the Dodgers starters out so they can get to the bullpen. I think jays will have to put up 6 runs plus a game to have a chance. Gaus did really well but made 2 mistakes. I've seen enough of Varland.....

Tough loss. Jays just didn't have enough bats and imo too many pinch runners went in. It was only a matter of time. Will be tough to recover from this and if Bichette and Springer are out you guys likely get your wish of seeing the Dodgers win again. Fun series regardless.
