The wrong team is in the WS.
Absolutely terrifying.Every time I see him play, I say the same thing every time..................You gotta' be kidding me.
He is a ridiculous baseball player.
The thing is, It's not close, I bet you put him in the outfield and he's the best OF in the league, I wouldn't doubt it.Absolutely terrifying.
It makes me physically ill that he plays for the dodgers.
Exactly. And I bet TV viewership plummeted once Ms were out. Jays = Boresville. The wrong team is in the WS.
That type of fanboyism has contributed to the mariners sucking all these years. You know Edgar and Seitzer are going to work with him on it. It's his only flaw, really. All the best righties rarely fell for the dreaded down and away it's the toughest part about being a righty it's easier to hit lefty in baseball.Give it a rest, dude. Geezus
I'm not talking about a particular game. The top half of the line up did fine in the playoffs. They lost because too much BP game and the bottom of the line up doing practically nothing.Ohtani is the best player of all time. Funny how Criz conveniently leaves out that Julio had a HR and a double in that game (scored after that double)
Well.. guess it's NO and YESThe real headlines for tonight will be...Can Ohtani stop the BJ's and can the BJ's stop Ohtani.
This game could absolutely be epic.
Ohtani lays off 4 sliders down and away to take a walk.
Has Julio ever done that?
I gave up on this long ago. The Julio sucks crowd isn't interested in facts. Just legit hate for a guy that doesn't deserve it much of the time. It's just strange...TO ME. But I just get called a Julio lover. So be it. It's not even worth the effort. At all.FYI, Ohtani strikes out more than Julio.
Ohtani had 611 AB's during the regular season, and struck out 187 times.
Julio had 652 AB's, and struck out 152 times.
Just for funsies, let's compare that to the guy that is widely considered the best hitter in baseball, Aaron Judge. Judge had 541 AB's, and struck out 160 times.
For those keeping score, Julio had significantly more AB's than either Ohtani or Judge, and also struck out fewer times than either of them (significantly fewer than Ohtani).
Oh, Cal strikes out significantly more than Julio too.
Now, I'm not saying Julio couldn't or shouldn't do better (especially with the low and away sliders), but I am saying that Julio gets a lot more sh@t than he really deserves, imo, and A LOT more sh@t about the K's than other guys that strike out more than he does.
