I am really looking forward to watching the World Cup, as I am every four years. This year I have a friend flying in for two weeks in late June/early July, hoping to see a game or two. But we didn't get picked in the random draw. Ironically, the cheapest tickets are for Quatar vs unknown, at $400+ each. Tickets at the Quatar World Cup five years ago had a face value of 1/4 what they will be in the U.S.

...anyone going?

If it's like the club world cup they will likely drop closer to the event barring the USA games. Seattle got pretty crappy games to be honest. Kind of hoping Italy wins their qualifier as the Italians will travel well.

Vancouver might also be an option for non Canada games.
