That DL isn't much of a test, in all fairness.

That may be true but the O line in the past has made very poor D lines look very good. Seeing improvement is a good thing regardless of the opponent.

Excellent point. Also Aboushi has definitely been integral to the improvement of the O-line. Honestly I think we are one veteran LT away from a good Line.

Yes they were. I haven't watched the video yet, but last weekend I got the impression that they were playing as a unit instead of a pair in the middle and three individuals on the outside.

I'm not, generally, one who subscribes to the continuity theory of the offensive line, but it does have some merit when the players are this raw

If they make a good showing this weekend, even if we don't get the win, I'll be pretty comfortable that they will be league average by season's end, and my preseason W-L prediction is intact. They don't need to be a great line, just an average line.

Our offensive line has a long ways to go, but I've seen improvement every week so far and that gives me hope. I don't want that confused with confidence, but I'll take hope right now.

They held Gurley to under 3.0 ypc, and have had a solid run defense, so give the boys some credit. Probably not great as a pass rushing unit compared to most teams though. Interior OL looks to be gelling - those guys are much more experienced. Tackles are still awful, though it really looks like Ifedi has been making some small improvements game to game.

Wow if our problem child Ifedi has been making improvements, that is huge.

We can't pen our hopes on one game against the Colts.. Are they not the worst team in the league, worse than the Browns? We've done this before, got on a role, only to find out, it's cause the other teams were just bad.
No, you cannot judge our OL against the NFL with one single games with the Colts.. Colts, yeah, we were way better, but that's about it.
