It's time for Balke and Jed to go. They both are team killers. Pure and simple.

This "rivalry" turned out to be as big of a joke as their front office. Jed is every bit as weasel-y and slimy as his uncle, and their GM's last name might as well be spelled "Balki".

Their infinitely predictable collapse after losing Harbaugh? Oh so good! :3:

I know we won't get spin from you Kats, you call it as you see it, no excuses, no preambles, no company line.
That's what we like about you. :th2thumbs:

As a Mariners fan we had our own version of the Trent Baalke and Jed York type situation over the last 17+ years with Howard Lincoln and Chuck Armstrong, Chuck retired a few years back and Howard retired TODAY.

So some of us know what it's like to have no hope when clueless rubes are running your team into the ground, and it stinks.

I can put in the good word for you to join the Hawks bandwagon if you wish. 8)

There's a fine line between calling it as you see it and being a constant whiner.

You can't expect a fan of a team ....a REAL fan....to be so quick to dismiss leadership, coaching staff, players. That's the job of rival fans to do.

Baalke being a s**** GM is starting to become more real, almost undeniable. You try and look for excuses and there's not a whole lot right now. Anthony Davis is a POS for being a whiner and a quitter BUT at the same time I don't think his comments about Baalke are unfounded.

Hawk fans have been hating on Baalke since this rivalry took off in 2012. At that time Baalke was actually decent, keeping the team in tact, doing the subtle things to make the team strong in 2011-2013. I think his biggest mistake beyond not drafting for more immediate need (and taking risky projects) was not pulling an Elway to get a Desean Jackson type or another FA that would have benefited the 49er/Kap offensive style -- Torrey Smith was too little too late.

Hawk fans were hating on Baalke before the Harbaugh/FO rift ever became public. Baalke being a rift driver is a far bigger sin than his talent acquisition IMO.

And for the record, I've also said that Hawk fans have been hating on Harbaugh too since day 1. They would pin him as a decent but not great coach (not as good as Pete Carroll), who somehow magically is now viewed as "better than we thought". Greg Roman is seen as some QB whisperer while producing the same lopsided run/passing ranks in Buffalo.

Just like the 49er roster itself, 2011-2013. A bunch of over the hill, average players that couldn't compete with the Hawk youth.

The only instance where Hawk fans never flip flopped or changed opinion was on Kaepernick. The hate has been present since the very beginning. Maybe he was off limits as a backup but once he became starter, he always sucked.

We always thought Baalke was crap, now that there is no Scot McCloughan, it is more apparent, remembering that Scots scouting carried over a few years also. Add in the great people skills that York and Baalke have and you have a die nes ty .

We always hated Harbaugh for his whining, laughed at him for his antics, applauded him for his drive and coaching.

Kaep, well somethings can't be polished.

McCloughan had a hand in Wilson, Wagner and that 2012 draft which hasn't been as stellar for the Hawks since.

Schneider is drafting for Carroll which is different than just drafting straight up. You guys pride yourselves in being different and Schneider is abiding by what Carroll wants.

He's good but overrated a bit. His first round picks (whenever he's had a first round pick) haven't been all that noteworthy. Is Bruce Irvin the pinnacle of first rounders? Because these trades for Harvin and Jimmy Graham weren't exactly groundbreaking.

Baalke is just a d*** but he knows how to draft defense that doesn't rely purely on the greatness of Vic Fangio.

Chris Borland and Aaron Lynch are better defensive talents than anyone the Hawks have drafted since 2013. You guys probably see Aldon Smith as a failed pick by Baalke.

Okung, Thomas, Irvin all have really sucked butt, we get you, Seahawks Front office can't compare to the 49ers, best go back to the Webstoned.

Can't Imagine why the Raiders would even have signed Irvin since he was so bad and such a Bust.

Is he still with the whiners? No? Why? Was it because he was lured away by a fat free agent contract, or was it because Baalke and Jeddy boy, enablers that they are, couldn't keep his stupidity in check? It is a wasted pick if you have to cut such talent because you can't get him to pull his head out of his ass. By the way, he hasn't been arrested in Oakland.

Please, explain how obviously shitty Earl Thomas must be for you to completely ignore him.

Ok so a question. Is the first part of the stated paragraph directed at me? You know a fine line of being a winner or calling it like you see it. And not being a real fan of a team just because I'm hard on the leadership.

Speaking of Kaep,

It appears he’s making progress toward that green light, however. The 49ers wrapped up a three-day minicamp on Thursday and Kaepernick was on the field while the team’s other quarterbacks were running drills. Kaepernick didn’t run or throw and wasn’t wearing a helmet, but did mimic the quarterback’s motions on each play.

So things have not changed in S.F with Kelly there :)

I doubt it. It reads more like a blanked deflection by someone in agony. Them Seahawk fans are a handy hateful group. It's all their fault.

The "adopt a Niner fan" love you get around here could put you on notice, haha.....but to my knowledge you weren't jumping ship in the early Harbaugh days. If you were, you were either a super Niner insider or just not a real Niner fan, all in my humble opinion of course....

You've accurately predicted the Tomsula era forward, but that wasn't quite the same as predicting the 49ers were going to be a great team in September 2011. But over here on .NET, taking an assertive bash 49er stance will endear you very quickly.

Only a real Niner fan believed this team was a serious post season threat in any part of 2011.......after the AZ loss there were doubts, but after beating Pittsburgh, Seattle and St Louis to close the season I knew this was a real team for some time to come. There probably were Niner fans that had to wait until they beat Green Bay and Detroit to start the 2012 season to feel they were legit.

I know many non Niner fans didn't think of the 49ers as an "elite" team until midway through 2012 if not deep that season.

The Seahawks in 2012 rose through national eyes a lot faster, probably because nobody outside the NFC West noticed the way they finished 2011.

Moral of the story:

Super fans believe in the team before others do when they are legit and defend them a bit too much when they are on the decline. I guess that's the definition of a homer.
