niners after the pats and the saints are the most complete team in the NFL.

ppl forget we are a couple of lucky plays away from being 3-3. We have some serious flaws especially on defense. We just happen to have a QB playing out of his mind. MVP QB play is the great equalizer. I don't think there is any QB in the league right now that is as dependent on their QB as we are right now. this is a 4-12 team without wilson.

So while i think overall the niners are a better team, we have the best QB in the NFL. That is enough to beat the niners twice this season.

Ya hate to say it but they are the best team in the division and it's not even close

Really? I think it's pretty close. We will find out head to head in a few weeks for sure, but Seattle can hang with San Francisco

Offensively yes...Defensively?..no....Seahawks 24.6 PPG Niners 12.8 PPG and they are better in pretty much all defensive categories stat wise, yes they can hang but Russ will have to play out of his mind, not trying to be pessimistic just realistic.

Okay I guess we should just not bother and just give them the win. I mean Pitt only gives up 22 yet we scored 28. You want to give up or be a downer before we even play go for it. They have not shown me anything that scares me at all.

FYI your stats are wrong on defense

Sf 14.3
Sea 23.6

https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team/_/view/defense/table/passing/sort/totalPointsPerGame/dir/asc

So again they seem good, but I am not impressed..yet and far form scared of them. I seem to recall some say the same thing about the Rams before the season started, and KC and look now.

So tell you what you skip the game since you already know who will win, and I will watch. Because as I said they are not better and its not close.

I'm going off of NFL.com stats soooo.....ya they're still not close on defense and you need to reread my posts man, I never said they couldn't win, all I said was they were the better team overall stat wise as of now, I'm sorry I'm not a homer and think the Seahawks are the best team in the NFL, you need to chill out and stop being such a jabroni.

The Niner front seven is legit. Like all world legit. Like Rams from a few years back with Donald, Quinn, Brockers, Long.

That will be the game the Wilson MVP hype dies down and the 100 QB rating takes a dive.

But we certainly could beat them. Or not. Because Any Given Sunday is a thing.

Last I checked the stats dont win and loose games either. I mean if they did we would have lost to the Steelers too, given they rank higher both scoring and yards defensively and, yet we did not. Hmm Jebroni wow how original.

Or it will be the game that seals it. Love how so called Hawks fans root against our QB. Makes one wonder.

Yeah the 49ers look really good so far this year, but we're 5-1 without Reed, and now he's back...

Balt looked good for the 1st 2games, then bad the next 2 including losing to Cleveland and now good again. KC looked good and now they lost 2 in a row. Its great a team looks good now, but its a long season.

Ya hate to say it but they are the best team in the division and it's not even close, I'd argue that front 4 is the most talented in the league, Armstead, Buckner, Bosa are all high level first round talents along with Dee Ford-their run game is something fierce too, Jimmy G is pretty average but he doesn't need to be spectacular with that run game and defense. Looking like 2013 in this division all over again

Dee Ford will always be off-sides to me.

Great RW thread.

Since we are on the subject, I really like that Texans team.

Yea. Funny how that guy gets overlooked. Even on his own thread.

If you're doing match ups against the 49ers then clearly our biggest advantage is at QB with Russ over JimmyG. That's also how it is supposed to work given we made Russ the highest paid player in the NFL.

Similarly, the 49ers have put a staggering amount of draft capital into their defensive line with four very high first round picks in Nick Bosa (#2 overall), Arik Armstead (#17 overall), Solomon Thomas (#3 overall) and DeForest Buckner (#7 overall). Add in the $$$ Dee Ford FA signing and if they weren't all world on the defensive line then that would be a huge problem for them.

49ers are the best team in the league according to DVOA on FootballOutsiders (DVOA is the overall efficiency statistic that pegged the Seahawks as title contenders during 2012 and 2013). They're pretty scary.

Well don't tell certain fans on this thread that they'll think you're a pessimistic downer who shouldn't watch anymore games lol

Waaah? No way, teams always continue to do exactly what they're doing now.

2 Oline starters out. Dissly out. ST gives up a 73 yd return. Punter and kicker struggle. Our D gets run over in the first Qtr.

Yet, he continues to find ways to win.

Losing Dissly is a huge loss but RW threw the ball to 8 different receivers including 2 TDs to Brown. RW is playing at an elite level despite a crippled O, struggling D and ST.

Getting Reed back is huge and there’s a great chance the D will finally lock in and play to their expected level.

As it is, I'd say we are headed for one hell of a showdown.

With the loss of Dissly it would be a good time for JS to make a move before the SF matchup for another target for RW. I'm glad we got Luke back but I'm not sure we can get that much production out of him.

Additionally, it was good to see our defense getting some turn overs and INT's but only Clowney has provided defensive points this year. I sure miss those days when it was odd for defense to get just one a game.

Some good news for defense with Reeds return

One thing is for sure, our chances are a lot better than the odds makers think.

No one rooting against our QB. No one. Do you have any idea how much calling out people on their level of fandom is without a doubt the most tired and pathetic way to interact on a team's message board? You disagree, your opinion is different, cool express that but ffs stop with the "your not a real fan" bullshit.

Yup and that always determine who wins, lets just give them the championship. Oh wait you need to actually play the games. Again no one is saying the SF is not good, just that we rally dont know how good, and they are not "the best by a lot" as some here have tried to say.
