Week 9
Seahawks 38, Commanders 14
OPENING TAKE
This wasn’t a win it was a warning shot.
Seattle walked into FedEx Field and dismantled the Commanders from the first snap to the final whistle. Sam Darnold played his cleanest, sharpest game as a Seahawk, the defense hunted all night, and Mike Macdonald’s system finally looked like the one we were promised back in training camp fast, disciplined, and violent.
Washington fans were gone before the fourth quarter even started. That’s how dominant it was.
THE TURNING POINT
Early in the second quarter, with Seattle already leading 14-0, Darnold hit Tory Horton on a 25 yard post that cracked the game open. Two plays later, Elijah Arroyo caught a 26 yard strike and made it 21-0 the dagger that drained any chance of a Commanders comeback

PLAYER SPOTLIGHTS
Sam Darnold QB
21 of 24 330 yds, 4 TDs, 1 INTs the most efficient game of his Seahawks tenure. Command, rhythm, and confidence in every throw.
Kenneth Walker III RB
11 carries for 42 yards 2 receptions for 19 yards. A tone-setter between the tackles.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR 8 catches for 129 His route tree keeps expanding, and the chemistry with Darnold is obvious.
Tory Horton WR
4 catches, 48 yards, 2 TDs broke free when the moment demanded it ( god dam this guy is fast!!!)
Elijah Arroyo WR/TE
2 catches, 29 yards, 1 TD made a splash on a deep strike when the lead was already growing
Devon He’s not just playing cornerback he’s redefining the position.
Boye Mafe EDGE
His speed off the edge wrecked Washington’s protection.
A.J. Barner TE/RB
1 carry for 1-yard TD (on the ground) showed versatility and surprise value.
FINAL TAKE
This was total team football offense, defense, and special teams feeding off each other. Seattle now sits 6-2, leading the NFC West, and looks every bit the contender they were built to be.
If this version of the Seahawks shows up weekly, the rest of the conference better start checking the rear view mirror. The Legion of Boom may be gone, but something new and just as dangerous is taking shape in Seattle
Go Hawks!!!
We’re back baby!!!
