Drop Diggs or Griffin from the practice squad and sign Lockett to it.

Diggs is still making money off the team right now while being injured. He's literally doing nothing.
Impossible. I was hoping the same thing but Lockett finished the year with another team, meaning he is ineligible to be signed while the season is still continuing

My wife loves Lockett. Those tiptoe sideline catches. I can't help but feel that he was not thrown to much in the final years
Too bad they can't sign him. It would have been nice to add him to PS just to get him a ring.

Our WR group is fine just the way it is.
Yep. Even if the league permitted us to sign Lockett, who is he getting in over? Obviously not JSN, Kupp, or Shaheed. Lockett doesn't play special teams, so not Dareke Young. Basically, you'd be sticking up a big middle finger at Bobo, who actually has some chemistry with Darnold, because Lockett being on a title team would be a feel-good story.

I kinda feel for, but I totally get it..

Tyler Lockett. Dude has shown this city and team constant love. Comes here after we finish back to back a superbowls… then the year after he’s gone, SuperBowl.

I get it, but still kind of a bummer for a dude who’s been nothing but class for this team and city.
My daughter and I were talking about that exact thing Sunday.
Hell of a player , classy in every way. I'm a Tyler Lockett fan.

I think the cost was prohibitive but they were also possibly wanting to turn a page where new leaders emerge with the new regime .

Here's the other way of looking at it: The Seahawks have gone to three straight Super Bowls in years that Tyler Lockett wasn't on the team.

Lockett was the curse?

I'm confused.

He left in good terms and played Hard as he could before he got injured
I actually think its pretty simple. Diggs wasn't Earl Thomas. And when you go from an era that redefined tackling , to such a soft player, its very difficult for a fan to transition to .

What personal news and drama from Tyler though? DK I get, but TL was like the most drama free dude ever, so dont say "their drama"
really? chastity ring? virgin 'till marriage and advertising it? coach in high school told me to hit the deck? real estate agent to the nfl stars that can't spell offer letters correctly?

c'mon. Like I get it, he had some decent stats, but between DK and his crap - there was a huge distraction to the team for 3 years. I'm really surprised that some people can't see that. and honestly, i'm really not fixated on it or dwelling on it.

it was just a ****** up time for the team with a couple people doing the opposite of what sherm and ADB did to rep the team and the NFLPA a few years before that......

Whatever..... I just want to crush the patriots - and honestly NoE did not walk on water. If he didn't want to play football and take the hits then he should have been playing women's ringette.

You really consider any of this drama? Most of this is just news about his personal life. He never went around blasting this stuff in people's faces. You could critize him for not wanting to take hits, but the other stuff is a reach that was never a distraction

Good point. It’s crazy about Lockett though because he WAS a fantastic returner before he broke his leg. Wasn’t he All Pro as a rookie for special teams?
Speaking of STs, I always watch the blocking more than the actual returner. I don’t recall seeing Lockett ever downfield blocking because he was the main returner at the time. After he broke his leg, he was just receiving and even then I do not recall him blocking hard when he wasn’t the target like Baldwin, Bobo, and Kupp did/do. I have noticed an incredible chemistry with the ST players and all players on the field with blocking. Great coaching IMO. These boys are blocking and tackling monsters.
