that doesn't make any sense

the ball flew forward through the air because the hand was moving forward with the ball in it.
No the ball can go forward and it still be a fumble it's called the empty hand and is a real rule, you should look it up...

The act of a defender hitting the arm of the QB creats a whip action which makes the ball go forward even though the QB's arm never moved forward....

go outside with a ball and have your buddy chop your arm

see if they can do it hard enough so the whip action makes the ball fly ten yards

I don't think it was a fumble because Murray had the ball in his hand moving forward for a split second, however, I agree that a player can push the ball forward even though he losses the grasp of the ball first.

If you push the ball forward but dont have control of it, its a fumble and thats what heppened. The ball was dislodge from his grip at the top of his motion. When his hand went forward after being hit, it was AT is hand. Not IN it.

There are too many examples in the NFL of that having happened and been called a fumble to even count.

Sorry this one definitely wasn’t a fumble. Hand moving forward with control is an incomplete pass.

I had a bigger issue with the non catch fumble when WR took 2 steps and turned up field while dragging one foot. Once called a fumble on the field it should have stayed a fumble. What a hit too.

Happened right below us and it was crazy close. At the stadium it did look like his arm was moving just barely. The one thing I'll say was that it was nice to see the refs actually let the play finish instead of the old whistle too early crap. I sent a few messages to friends watching tv and I'd say more than not said it was barely moving forward. Damn. Get that and take away the ridiculously bone headed throw by Geno in the end zone and this game might not be close. Arizona's defense is def. tough.

Not going to debate whether it was a fumble or not, but definitely not enough to change the call on the field. Have seen so many calls on the field not changed that should have been and their excuse is not enough to change the call.
