I have been Seahawks Fan since I was five years old when the team started in 1976. There have been very few times when I felt like our team was about to come into a positive situation and be competitive in the NFL.
Each time that that we became competitive, I could feel it coming a little bit before hand and I had that feeling when Pete was here and his last couple years and definitely last year with Mike McDonald.
I think we are taking a step back to take a step forward. We have hope that things could accelerate and be better faster than we expect them to be.
In reality, building a team that’s bigger faster stronger worked for us before and I would like to try to do that again let’s be a ******* slobber knocker that makes you hate playing us. That might take a few years, but I would rather win a Super Bowl five years from now then not win one at all. Let’s go!

Good stuff Mike! Let's get that Lombardi in 2-3 though. These are massively changing times and who knows what this team looks like next year.
Gawd, I love me some football!

It was nice to cut some fat! I think Darnold is more Matt Flynn than early Russ. Hopefully John has his eyes on someone out there. Those two 6-3 starts and the first half of the playoff game against the niners had a few years ago got me thinking it was 2012 again, but it wasn't. In 2012 it just all came together.

So funny because Matt Flynn is who exactly came to mind when thinking about Darnold.

I don't get this take at all. Flynn had one good game, and a lot of us were happy to have him here. Even with Tavaris as a competition. No one expected wilson to be the day 1 starter until the preseason. Darnold had a good season under his belt, im pretty optimistic

One thing for sure, I'm definitely excited to see them play this year. If they kept GS, I wouldn't have watched many games. LFG!

I get questioning the comparison, but for me it’s just the way mechanically they throw the ball and are built.

I don't get the Flynn comparison at all? Flynn didn't have anywhere near the full season of numbers that Darnold has to show. It's not even the point, tbh. Seahawks need to get over that hump of holding onto their guys like they are untouchable. If Darnold doesn't work out, get rid of him. Last years number one pick doesn't work out? Trade him. Their decision making process is 2 years too late, imho.

I have a feeling if we don't go with the new logo, retro uni soon, it's gonna be a rough, rough ride.

LOL Flynn. He had a six-touchdown game in which most of the touchdowns were screen or swing passes that the receiver took all the way and he made a big chunk of money off of it from the Seahawks without ever playing a down for them.

Darnold, at least, has a whole season of relatively good play, right up until he's pressured.

I think you are on to something, we have Darnold the Matt Flynn and Howell the Wilson. Let them battle it out.

So some of you think the WRs of the Vikings threw the ball to themselves, huh?

I mean i suppose people are entitled to their own WRONG opinion so it's all good, I suppose. 🤔
