Saw Logan Gilbert yesterday.

Downtown, was leaving a building and I heard a receptionist ask "Name sir?" and then "Logan."

I recognized his voice immediately, and remembered the 9 inning game he pitched while his team mates chanted "Logan! Logan! Logan! Logan!" To which Servais replied; "Relax guys, he's going back in!"

Looked over and saw a tall, thin dude and "Yep! That's Logan Gilbert!" It was cool to see a Mariner in real life, but I kept going as I wanted to respect his space.

I've never really been interested in autographs or selfies, just moments and memories.

How did he respond when you asked him detailed questions about his injury and recovery?

I saw Mike Zubino walking downtown few years ago when he was paying when the Rays were in town. I said hey are you Mike Zubino and he said I am! I said cool. That was it. He was waking with a few other Rays.
