Nope, just smart enough to know what he doesn’t know and fire the last guy who couldn’t get it done and hired someone who could.

Now let’s remember we just win the freakin Super Bowl
You don’t think Mike knows what he wants his offense to be? Maybe kubiak was responsible for the nuances, but I still believe the offense is mikes. It was mikes last year and grubb didn’t do it right. It was mikes this year and Kubiak conformed to the vision. Kubiak is fine. But I’m not so worried that he is irreplaceable. I believe we will be even more dynamic next year under a new OC

YOu clearly dont grasp how a large corporation works

And spelling it offence Goes to show you are from the UK and should probably stick to cricket
You are correct. I don't understand large corporations. I do own a small corporation and understand that very well. Honestly, I have terrible spelling as do most people with dyslexia.
Perhaps use punctuation before correcting anyone's spelling. Lol
All good brother, GO HAWKS!
And I'm a Seattle native/local simpleton.

From someone who corrects spelling calls me an English teacher?
Okay. This will be my last response. The Seahawks won and it's a happy night.
To answer your question a sentence ends with punctuation. A question ends with a question mark "?". A sentence ends in a period ".". So saying "please elaborate "English" teacher"
It should include a period. The end of your sentence should look like this... please elaborate "English" teacher.

You are welcome.

And I thought this thread would be about Geno lol. Anyone checked on him lately?

I am not a big KK fan but he did well. Congrats to him. Many people seem to want an OC more suited to a pass heavy super star QB offense. I don't see that happening. We can be the slightly boring on offense Super Bowl winning Seahawks.

I just checked his X/Twitter. He hasn't made a direct post himself, but he's reposted a number of "congratulation" posts. Pretty classy in the scheme of things, actually.

Or running back had 165 years of offense, was the Super Bowl MVP and Kubiak sucks?

Rams get almost 500 yards of offense, but our offense comes back and beats them, and our OC sucks?

Ridiculous post.

For taking our weak links. Bye Kubiak….
Yea, let’s see how well this ages.

Just curious, who do you like to replace him?

Sam will be our QB, are you excited about the thought of him learning a new offense?
Are you concerned about the chemistry Sam and the new guy will have?

I see way more downside to losing Kubiak than I see upside bringing in a new guy.

Our system wasn’t broken, and IMO you don’t try fixing something that isn’t.
Not only wasn’t it broken, it was working pretty darn well.

Guess I’m suggesting “be careful what you wish for “.
Sure it’s not like we have a choice, but considering we were a top 10 offense that’s not too shabby, and it might be tougher to repeat than you think.

I see it differently. First of all we’re not fixing an unbroken system. Kubiak is leaving. It’s not broken it’s gone. Second it’s not kubiaks system. It’s mikes. No I don’t know who they should hire. But it won’t be klint. Third, Kubiak didn’t own the restaurant, he was a cook. We will find another cook. We will teach him this culture, we will teach him how to be patient and committed to the run. I am excited to see what’s next. Kubiak is meh and he should have stayed.

What held our offense back the most?

Interceptions, blocking, play calling.

Reload, repeat, reign supreme

We were a top 10 offense and we never even reached our potential… we are gonna be deadly for a long time

Appreciate your enthusiasm.

My response was based off your OP

Weak link/Kubiak

Top 10 offense and top Defense won us the SB

ANY major change is a gamble, and I’m not excited about making any even those that are forced.

Team Chemistry is a major factor, Chemistry is about balance, interactions, and reactions.
Hopefully your line of thinking works out, and my concerns are a moot point

I agree I have seen some things from Sam I wish were better
Meh he got pressured all game long. He had a couple I bet he would love to have back but you can say that about every QB in almost every game. Overall he played pretty well and when we couldn't run in the second half he was much better. I think he was 11-14 in the second half?

haha uh, Kubiak was easily the best OC we've trotted out since Schotty during parts of the Chef Russ era and probably better than anyone Pete had. OC isn't just about playcalling; the schematics, design, OL structure all drastically improved under him. JSN became a top 3 WR in the NFL and if they hadn't blown out teams in 2 games where we basically stopped passing the ball by half time he might have broken the most yards in a season record. Run game got better as the year went on with OL improving as a unit. They very clearly decided to win with FGs if needed last night given how dominant the D was playing. It is going to be very hard to find a replacement for him who picks right up where we left off IMO.

I know what your response was. That’s why I’m enthusiastic. But I just think the source is Mike and the next guy is gonna be a step up, again
