If we win/If we lose vs Steelers?

Either Question or both.

Are you Hot, Cold?

No “I’m warm” (unless you have to take the easy route).

I’ll be cold if we lose.
I was certainly Hot (fired up) going into game one, but that game dowsed my flame.

If we win I’ll be a bit rekindled.

What’s your temperature?

All NFC West teams besides us are 1-0.

This week:
Rams v Titans
SF v NO
AZ v CAR

It’s very early. Super early. But going down two games in our division in week 2 is not the greatest thing.

We all want a win. I dont think anything is a Must-Win this early, but not a good spot to be in if we lose.

I was hot coming into the 9ers game and the result was a cold bucket of water.

I'm barely luke warm at the moment, but if we go 0-2 I will be needing a thick sweater and socks.

I'm tepid at the moment. In between warm and cold.

First of all, I not only blame KK for my attitude but:

I think my wife jinxed the last game and possibly the season for switching her game day grub from eggs and pancakes to start the game to frikken wings for lunch instead that took almost an hour to make!

If we lose today, AND we get the same dogshit game plan from KK - like I mentioned in another post - Ima checkin' out probably for a month. I really don't want to watch the team flail around trying to dig out of a 2-0 hole for a month.

Don’t know if it’s 100% accurate but I just heard on the Fox show that only 12% of these teams that start 0-2 make it to the playoffs.

Only positive I see in that is (12) %

I’m going to enjoy watching a Seahawks game for the next three hours. Win lose or draw. We only get a set amount of games each season. I’m going to enjoy the shit out of the journey.
That’s it. The rest of my life will go on regardless of the outcome of a game where I play no part other than observer.

Year two of the rebuild. Coaches/FO can say Super Bowl or bust all day, anything else would be silly.

As a fan, I'm just looking for consistant growth week-to-week and for the team to go out and put up a fight.

There are obvious holes in this roster still with all the shuffling around that had to take place early in these builds. Seeing how they addressed the previous seasons issues is what I'm looking forward to. As far as this year goes the OL and DL are in the spotlight.

Early observations it's looking like WR and DBs will be the focal point after the season is over. With some attention to the LB group as well.

Maybe some of this will be taken care of mid-season, we'll have to wait and see. I do appreciate this new regimes willingness to cut their losses and make those kind of moves before the offseason bidding wars.

All of that said, I'm running hot on this team. It's been too long watching and following a group that was content with mediocrity. Unless the wheels blow off, I'm all in.

I’m warm, but kind of a offensive clown show right now.

Defense looks pretty good even with the injuries.

Getting better! That was the best drive of the season. Time for D to get a TO back and keep it up

Well I’m certainly warming back up.

Last week was an absolute gut punch for me.

Today although I was a bit concerned early finished strong.

Now a curb stomping of NO next week (as we certainly should) will get me on the hot side again.

No more playing down to the weaker opponents.

Getting things ironed out. Now I think it's just a matter of how far Darnold can take this team.

I think we are still looking at a 4-2 or even a 5-1 start to this season. Our defense has been playing well overall even though there have been some miscues and I see our offense getting better over the course of the year. Having done many key players new to the unit and a new coach and system takes time.

Wouldn't go that far. K9 won us this one. And some excellent ST.
You're kidding, right? 🤔

Yeah K9 played well this game but let's not act like Darnold didn't have some big plays in the 2nd half either.

Remember that despite the "excellent ST" (which really was a lucky-as-f*ck TD due to a rookie mistake by the Steelers player), the Hawks still gave up a FG to be only up by a TD late.

So....guess what?

If Darnold doesn't make that CLUTCH key 3rd and 9 escape (from a sack) and convert it to a 1st down to Barner....

....and if Darnold then doesn't throw that CLUTCH big-time 43-yard BOMB to JSN...

...then K9 would not even have been in the same ZIPCODE to be able to "won us this one".

Come on man.....

I’m not sure how far back that goes but anything prior to 2020 is hardly accurate since there were less playoff teams. It became even easier to make up for a slow start the following year when the season expanded to 17 games.

Last year the Ravens, Rams and Broncos all made the playoffs last season after losing their first two games. Baltimore and L.A. even hosted wild-card round games and advanced to the divisional round.

Of course, none of that matters now that we exposed Erin and DK for what they are.
