Teams we’ve played

So far we are 3-2 and coulda shoukda woulda been 4-1 but I digress

I just was looking at our opponents and current conference records and we have played 3 of the top 3 teams from both conferences. Our record is a meager 1-2 in those games but each of those games we looked like we could have won them if things had just gone slightly different here or there.

These are the types of teams we will have to play in the playoffs and I think we aren’t even close to peaking yet. This bodes well for our chances going forward. If we can get healthy we can be very dangerous.

We could be 5 - 0 real easy. I like that word "dangerous" - the commentaters use it during games. The offense is clearly getting better every game.

If the passing game continues that would boldwell for the running game & Walker lll, but the defense is decimated. if we can at least split the next 2 games getting into the bye without anymore injuries we could make a late season push towards the playoffs...

We have to establish runs. Defense can’t be on the field long. Our defense played poorly but our offense wasn’t clicking until after a while. They did not seem game time ready. If you see opponents able to isolate defense and build zones or islands by scheme, the defense wasn’t at its best.

Bucs have one of the best run defenses in the NFL. It's not damning that we had some struggle getting the run game going against them.

Just a little more context, in Week 6 we will play our 4th team with a week 5 record of only 1 loss. If we come through this with a 4-2 record with our injury riddled defense then we will be looking really good.

I agree but our D is struggling, specifically Okada. Not having Love out there is huge. Okada has missed 4 assignments already.

Just so much more solid than anytime since the good old days. We’ve had a lot of 6-3 type starts. But this feels different.
