I'm not sure he's a good fit for left tackle. He's going on his 3rd year and isn't showing any signs of development. Maybe a change to right tackle or even a move to guard might be in order.

He's listed as Cross's backup on the depth chart. So he's more than just a camp body, and after getting abused all night last should put Pete in a cold sweat about moving forward with him on the 53 man roster.

Stone is an appropriate name for him, cause he's got stone feet.
Yeah, that's scary!
Maybe take a good look at Jalen Mckenzie, little lighter but his feet might be quicker.

Here's the thing with backups, as 2's they should be able to hold their own against other 2's, and even win 50% of the time against 1's.

That's a solid backup that you feel comfortable with taking snaps in real games. Stone gets abused by 2's and 3's losing almost all the time?

Yeah man, hit the panic button. He ain't a rookie, this is a player who's had PLENTY of time to develop, and hasn't.

Let’s see if he sucks it up again and then go from there. I struggle to make permanent decisions off small sample sizes (although, in this case, there is a bit more data than we would probably like)

Stone Forsythe is 6' 8" so he's not moving to guard. At that size, there's no way he will win the leverage battle against NFL DTs.

Ya notice how all the guys we're complaining about were taken during that dark period before Pete and John got their mojo back 2 drafts ago? Eskridge will soon be a bad memory like Collier and Barton. Stone not looking so good. Its gonna take some time to clear out all the dead weight.

There's a reason he's a 6th round pick. But it's not like we have a lot of other options available. He's available and knows the playbook. That puts him ahead of most other JAG's.

It's like playing Breno Giacomini at LT - what'd ya expect?

LTs are hard to find and are the most valuable postion on offense besides QB for a reason, but I think he can be a serviceable RT.

Andy Dickerson seems to be experimenting with his 6'-8" talent. Greg Eiland lined up at left guard early on in the game beside Stone Forsythe. Then Eiland closed out the game at right tackle.

Last Thursday, Dickerson moved a number of his players around and deployed multiple combinations.

He's a failed sixth round pick.

Had poor leverage, footwork and hand fighting in college. It hasn't transitioned here either.

Coach him up another year while he's on a cheap rookie deal then cut bait. Pray Cross and Lucas stay healthy.
