I'm waiting for his passes to bounce out of DK's arm catches a few times, we'll see how long their relationship lasts.
He'll be wishing he still had DaVante Adams...LOL

When have the stealers not had a douche bag at QB? Seems like it’s been tradition going back 25 years
That's not entirely correct.

They have a douche bag now.

They had a rapist back then (Rothelsberger).

I guess you can say it's an improvement?

My post was 100% sarcasm aimed at trying to inject some truth into the conversation. I know the real reason 'they' don't like AR and those conversations are off limits.
The part about his philanthropy was an attempt to have people take an honest look at the guy. A waste of time I'm sure.

Yeah I know, I was responding in kind with more sarcasm.

I just can't see Rodgers moving the needle much in Pittsburgh.

I don't think DK was a significant upgrade over George Pickens, and certainly not for $33 million per year vs. someone on a rookie contract.

That Jets-Steelers game week one is going to be interesting, with each team's discard being the other team's starting QB.

200It's absolutely hilarious that the 49ers chose Alex Smith #1 over their hometown boy AR, especially in that weak 2005 draft. I always root for the underdog and Rodgers has always been that, a self made guy who worked hard from an early age to reach his goals.
Finally picked by GB at #24, we took Chris Spencer at 26.
Haters gonna hate.

I’m not sure if this is sarcasm or serious… Aaron rogers and underdog? Trying to think of the last time I heard those words in the same sentence. Maybe underachiever? He has as many superbowls as Russell Wilson and Trent dilfer and nick foles. I guess he does have more the Dan Marino, but he’s got less than Eli manning….

Aaron Rodgers sucks and it has little to do with his political beliefs. Throwing your own teammates under the bus is just something you don't do in a team sport. That's just one example of his arrogant douche-baggery.

His smug, arrogance is stifling.

Of course he was going to sign with Pittsburgh all along. I'm only surprised he didn't wait until training camp. God forbid he signed earlier to maximize getting his work in and building chemistry with the players and learning the playbook.

I am so ready for this dude to retire for good already.
I never really had anything against Rodgers until he went to the Jets. That's when he really showed who he is. I'd be surprised if he plays well, and I hope it's his last season.

Open minded, scientifically illiterate. Potato potahto.
Tilting at windmills much?

Coming from humble beginnings and having to to play JC football at Butte in his home town because of no D1 offers. Then getting a chance to prove himself at Cal only because of Jeff Tedford's proxiemity to him. Falling in the draft. Sitting in Favres shadow for 3 years only to have Favre try to 'unretire' when he did get his chance. Having to live up to the legend of Brett Favre in GB...
But yeah, you're right, not quite a Kurt Warner story.

You mean like Peyton Manning screaming at Jeff Saturday & his OLine or Tom Brady yelling at his teammates and throwing his helmet?
I could name example after example of as you say, "arrogant douche-baggery."
From Rivers to Mahomes, could cite dozens of incidents but I'm sure saying your WR ran the wrong route or questioning your coaches playcalling is worse.

I'm no huge AR fan but your bias is glaring.

Ok I see your point he did have to earn his way. But he still eats his boogers on tv….

He waited to sign due to personal issues. The Steelers knew what was going on.
