question guys...

anybody thought about with the stadium earthquakes that we cause... and the 'huge' fault like through seattle area... is this maybe not a great idea? would or could this add stress to the fault that scientists have said is 'long overdue' to shift and cause 'the big one'. ..

just a thought?

that would be a terrible way to wipe out most of a state... because we were basiclly 'jumping on the bed' in a sense...

If the 12th man is at fault for causing "the big one" and wiping out half the state then so be it, whatever it takes to win

By saying we cause "earthquakes," they mean very tiny, localized earthquakes.

There IS a fault running under the stadium, my old Geology professor called it the I90 fault. He said when the big one comes, it will level everything south of Pioneer Square. This is due to the foundation they built on is mostly mush (Denny Hill was flattened during the Denny Regrade http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denny_Regrade,_Seattle).

That was back in the Kingdome days, but he never said anything about human activity affecting/worsening the fault.

Maybe if we shake the ground around the stadium enough it will knock Bertha loose and they can keep digging the tunnel.
