That when you're on the punt team you are expected to actually block (or at least slow down) the guy in front of you. Pin the blame for that blocked punt on the rookie.

And cover the TE in the end zone...Shead has outside containment, Coyle blew the coverage on the TE that closes the game to 6 points.....I didn't see anything from him that says he's ready for prime time.....he gave up 14 points in the game.

Thank goodness for the Beast!

Tell Turbin, too. On that punt, I distinctly remember both up backs leaving the backfield, splitting out to the outside far too early. One of them was Turbin.

Hey special teams have not been so special the last few weeks. I think we can chalk this up to having back ups to back ups playing.

The positive is that we got a "W" and some playing time for these guys. I bet they get better as they go along.
