Darnold better get those bone headed plays out o his system. Come playoff time and this continues, WE WILL be eliminated in the 1st round.
Really? If Darnold wasn't playing like he is would you even care? Let me know reason to we wouldn't be 7 2

Nice thing about this D is that even with the injuries, the guys that have stepped up have not only just filled in but they have been noticeable. Okada, Jobe, and now Knight have been stellar in their replacement roles. Pritchett had an outstanding game today in a part time role. Drake Thomas wasn’t supposed to be anybody but here he is making impact plays game after game.

This is coaching. This is getting the best out of what you have and so far these guys are responding to what Mike Mac is preaching. I love it.
I remember when we got Drake Thomas from the Raiders . A lot of their fans were pissed

We saw some KICK-ASS plays and effort on our D yesterday with a lot of contributions from a bunch of different guys, and it looks like this level of dominance and physicality is here to stay for a while. Will especially need it in the playoffs!

We can disagree on Darnold. He's one hell of a player. And you could also argue that 2 of those turnovers were not on him.
They just got done winning by 24 and 22. Not sure what else you guys want. Other than 50-0 wins with 4 quarters of perfection.

EXACTLY what I said would happen has happened. Hawks win in a blowout; they give up some short fields and the game SEEMS to be closer than it was. Followed by people losing their minds (to a point)

Win by 1, win by 22, all counts the same. Perfection is not realistic on the football field. I just have a hard time understanding not being stoked about a 7-2 team who has controlled MOST of the games they have won. This team is going to lose some more games. And I suspect the jump off the bridge crowd will be right here for it. I'm here for it, win or lose. Everyone deals with it their own way. At least we're talking about a 7-2 team and not a team sitting at 5-4 or 4-5.
It's funny some guys had a very nuanced take on every single Geno turnover and why it was everyone else but his fault and with Darnold its
turnover bad" with zero nuance. Seems telling lol. I'm with you, I'm not worried. Most of them have been of the flukey variety and those don't worry me. We're not seeing red zone terrible decision making type turnovers but instead we have multiple that take a crazy bounce off of a helmet, a couple when his hand gets hit, one on a replacement center exchange and a couple that were flat out bad.

Anyway He's been playing very well and by most advanced metrics he's been about as good as anyone in the league. I'm not worried.

Well said, very. Geno gets a pick, not his fault. Darnold has a turnover.......boneheaded decision!

Most of the TO's Darnold has, are off the helmet, DL fingertips
or off the WR hands.
I can't see how he can control that, you cannot wait for a zero chance
throw(s) to avoid that or you will see Me3 type sacks (screw that).
The fumbles- Off your own OL ass is a total fluke..
The one yesterday, with a DL reaching in- That happens to every QB!
Darnold isn't perfect but I'll take him as is after going through the last
two QBs we had, I cannot speak for the rest of you on that.

Yes I would care. Darnold has surprised the hell out of me this season and is playing lights out. Let's be real for a second, if Darold turns the ball over 4 times like the Houston game and was playing on another team, they lose that game. If Darnold brings that ball up to his shoulders during that week 1 game against the niners, he throws to a WIDE open kupp and we we that game. Like I said, Darnold needs to quit the bone headed plays because we may be winning now but during the playoffs, we go home.
