I read something a while back that Carr is high on Pete's list and is more suitable with what they want a qb to do. Its not impossible imo.

Cincinatti's QB Desmond Ritter is my favorite option. I don't care whether a QB is ready to win games in 2022 when we should be clearing cap space and developing youth. Ritter has improved steadily every year, checks all the boxes for arm strength, toughness, mobility and size, and has every intangible you could want. I absolutely think we could win games with a strong team around him in 2023.
