So, I watched both Jaguar games.

Henne is far better than Gabbert. It wasn't a high hurdle, however.

They have a couple of offensive weapons in Ace Sanders and Cecil Shorts. Sanders is the kind of receiver who has given us fits in the past.

As far as I know, MJD is playing. He better, for their sakes. Their depth is a misnomer.

The defense can be run on. I could see Seattle with 45 runs.

The pass pro looks bad, but some of that is on the QBs.

They do some things with WR screens, quick hitters, and designed plays to get guys in the flat. They target Ace deep some, but that isn't really his game, he is a slot player prototype. I like him as a test, should help us see a bit of what STL might do with some of their speed.

The linebackers are not to fleet of foot, and some bad tackling in the secondary.

It felt like I was watching a Hawk team from 5 years ago. There is some awful body language on that team, not much hustle, not much fight. Bradley has his work cut out for him, and it looks to me like a lot of those guys know they aren't for long.

Thank you for putting in the time. Good to hear and I too hope that we run, run run. Activate Christine Michael and get him some reps! But, with Okung out they might leave him inactive and instead activate Bowie and Bailey.

Sounds like there's a lot of quit on that team. Kind of feel sorry for them, if that's the case. This could be like the Cardinals game from last year when Arizona was done playing about 1/3rd the way through the game.

Wait, you actually watched two JAGUARS games? :34853_tinfoil:

You are a brave and intrepid soul.
I know there are Jag fans that will read this, and I bear them no ill will, but I don't know how they do it. It is going to take them just as long, if not longer, to revamp that crew. I hope they draft well, no fan base should have to take that product weekly.

I will be pretty surprised if Russell has more than 25 passes. Or 20. I would start Turbin on a fantasy team this week.

Agreed. I see a LOT of running this week...although I know Pete is a little antsy about the passing game and they might come out throwing trying to get it squared away.

I have been watching the Texans too. Watching Jags and Texans back to back is not a good idea, it makes the Texans look twice as scary as they really are.

Texans are a strange team for me. I watched both of their games . . . I know they are "supposed" to be really good, but they look beatable. And they usually don't fare well against the NFC in Reliant.

Two players scare me on that team - Ben Tate and J.J. Watt. An honorable mention to Owen Daniels. Schaub? Meh. And Foster is clearly not 100%, as my Fantasy League numbers will tell you.

Agree completely about the Texans, especially about Schaub, I do hope we come up with a creative game plan for Watt, maybe traps or zone read. Also, Cushing when healthy must be accounted for.
