...STILL has better numbers than Andrew Luck and RGIII. Go figure. I wonder how long we will hear about "giving it time" for the numbers to settle in. I only see Russell's numbers getting better as the season progresses and the line becomes healthier.

I won't get into too much detail, but I'll put up the big ones:

Russell: 13 TDs/ 4 Int, 61% completion, 1628 yards/ 339 rushing, 7.94 avg pass, 99.0 rating

RGIII: 9 TDs/ 8 Int, 59% completion, 1878 yards/ 240 rushing, 7.01 avg pass, 79.2 rating

Luck: 10 TDs/ 3 Int, 60.7% completion, 1573 yards/ 183 rushing, 7.03 avg pass, 91.3 rating

However, both RGIII and Luck have had their byes already and have thus played only 7 games.... and that does matter quite a bit. Still fun to talk about.

I can't wait until our oline is healthy. He's putting up those numbers now what's going to happen when he gets an extra second or two to throw the ball? Should be fun to watch.

But guys........... he's not good because his defense and running game makes his job easier.

STFU, Mainstream bias.

Russell Wilson has better numbers than all your money-making properganda QBs who were supposed to be the cream of the crop, the new posterboys ... and yet the little 5'11 Wilson is putting up better or more efficient stats despite facing some the leagues better defenses, behind the worst O-line in the NFL, and his most dependable targets of 2012, Sidney Rice and Zach Miller, have been either injured or wildly ineffective in the passing game.

What Wilson has done is nothing short of amazing... pun intended.

I never understood why Krapperdink is always lumped into the 2012 class. He is a THIRD year quarterback so compare him with Dalton and stop the insanity.

I lumped him in since he took over the reigns the same year the other three did.

Wow, great find... I would not have assumed that A. Wilson was ahead of both statistically or 2. RGIII has the most passing yards. (although the passer rating says a lot)

Luck's stats are amazing considering he has wins over the Seahawks, 9ers and Broncos..

There's a mainstream sports media bias against the Hawks?

Russell seems to be having to fill multiple shoes this year much like Luck had to last year
Great thread thanks

I would've guessed that Luck had better stats than that. He's been very impressive when I've watched him this year, although I've only seen the Broncos game and the game against us. Wilson is also 2nd in rushing yards (behind Pryor) and has the most rushing 1st downs among quarterbacks.

RGIII gets a lot of garbage time stats.

Awesome share. Thanks. It'll be interesting to revisit this after Seattle's bye.

I'm a hawk fan living in DC. I have watched a lot of RGIII this year. He doesn't look nearly as good as RW or as good as he did last year. He doesn't seem to get the right push off his legs when he is passing much of the time leading to wildly inaccurate passes. He's not as good as RW with the baseball infielder type of throws made on the run. He is also running for his life a lot. He was brutalized by Denver. In previous games, he runs in such a way that he invites contact very much unlike RW in similar situations. He has more similarities to Kap than he does to RW.

Yeah, in the times I've seen him so far this year, he seems to be a lot less accurate with his throws.
